Finally found "Pizza Alley" officially San Ramon. As you're standing in the park, look for a big Coca Cola sign on the side of a building. The entrance is under that sign. Pizza alley was nice. They did their best to keep the beggars out. Security guards at both ends. It's visible from majority of both parks. Went there for some lunch. Pizza alley is about 30 yards long. Pedestrian traffic only, street cafes and clubs both sides. Some areas are 3 floors high packed with restaurants, discos, and lounges. Be prepared every time you walk thru there are waitress and waiters shoving menus into your face trying to talk you into eating there. The end farthest from the parks is a place called Old Club. Fri. and Sat. night the place was packed and played old and I mean old American rock and roll. The bands were rather good.

Taxi back to Pizza Alley. I'm becoming disappointed in Pizza Alley and Lacomar. Might be my expectations or the cool weather but really didn't seem to be as many girls as I expected. During dinner I had a young gal ask to join me for a drink. I'd seen her earlier and knew she was a working girl so idle chit chat over dinner. Attempted to use the conversation as a fact "finding mission" but she was little help. Decided to meet at my hotel around 10 PM $45 for 3 hours.

Pizza Alley. At the Ovalo (a traffic circle where Ave. J Pardo becomes Ave. R. Palma and meets Ave. Arequipa which becomes Ave. Larco), find McDonald's on one corner and walk southwest (towards the ocean) along the street called Ave. O. Benavides (not to be confused with Ave. A. Benavides). On your left across the street begins Kennedy Park. On your right about a 100 yards will be an alleyway full of outdoor tables and waiters and waitresses with menu in hand beckoning you to come into their restaurants.

I stayed at the Carmel Hotel which is only about three blocks from Pizza Alley. I had read the earlier posts and looked for the Coca Cola sign, but apparently in 2005 it is no longer there. But just ask anyone during the day and they will point you directly to Pizza Alley.

I had searched it out during the daytime and then returned to hunt around midnight on a Monday night. I had no idea that I would be harassed by so many folks trying to get me into their restaurant.

Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a street urchin (maybe 10 years old) trying to sell me chicklets. I bought so much gum on this trip that I need to see my dentist! Thank goodness, the security ushered her out as I entered Pizza Alley, so I was not bothered for too long. I seriously got tired of saying "no gracias" as each restaurant had a taunt trying to snag my business. I worked my way to the other end and ducked into a karaoke bar. The English selection was poor so I listened as a few locals sang and then dismissed myself.

I was headed back the way I came when I noticed a couple of cute chicas sitting in the patio section of one of the restaurants. I pulled up a table next to them and ordered a chicha morado (a local non-alcoholic drink). For one, I have not drank in over a year, and secondly I wanted to keep my wits about me for what I was about to embark upon. Immediately these two girls invited me to sit at their table. Initially I declined, but they continued to converse with me and I could not hear them. I finally gave in and sat at their table.

One was drinking and one was not. The drunk one eventually disappeared as she could tell that I was having much better conversation with her friend. Besides, her friend spoke better English.

As the conversation wore on she admitted that she worked at a "night club". Now thanks to this site I knew that meant she was a working girl, but I played stupid and asked if she was a bartender or a waitress. She had to come clean and tell me what she really did. But I think my supposed ignorance was a refreshing change for her.

I told her she was pretty and I was willing to help her out by giving her some business on her night off. Seems she dances at Emmanuel, but this was her night off. She did tell me that the rate was $100. I know I should have negotiated, but I was supposedly a novice and knew nothing, so negotiating would have blown my cover.

I walked her back to Carmel hotel and she quickly offered her documents to the desk clerk. Her name was Claudia, but turns out this is her working name. I later found out that her real name was Elsa. Either way she was an 8 in the body. Spinner type, but with visible ribs and small brests. Her face was a 9. Needless to say, better looking than anything I have had in the States in the past few years. And at 24 years of age with no children (so she said), I was more than game.

No DATY, and very little DFK. But otherwise her performance was pretty good (not that I have much to compare it too). I asked to take pics but she refused and I respected her wishes (sorry guys). I figured she was going to leave afterwards so I gave her 5 twenties and she suggested we use the jacuzzi in my room. Of course I agreed. We then climbed in the bed and she stayed until my alarm went off the next morning. She offered round two in the AM, but my regular girl was on her way so Caludia, errr Elsa had to go.

The next night I had the fever and went right back to Pizza Alley around midnight. Guess who I see at the same table as the night before? Yep, there sat Claudia. She beckoned me over and I was too much of a gentleman to admit that I was hunting for some variety. I visited with her for a while and listened to her story. Seems she fell for a monger and was ready to follow him back to the states. He then dropped the bomb on her that he had no intentions of really marrying her. I was sympathetic. This was an honest feeling. I realize that many of these gals are just trying to better themselves and deep down they are not bad people.

She was down, and offered to go back to my room to snuggle "gratis" for the evening. Was I going to turn this down? Hell no!!! And she was true to her word. We snuggled followed by DFK and DATY. She was so much better this night. I tell you, just listening to a girl (even a working girl) can make all the difference in the world. And of course we used the jacuzzi afterwards and fell asleep in each others arms.

Again morning came and I had to rush her out. She wanted to go for breakfast, but I had the regular gal coming again. I gave her 3 twenties as a "gift" and hailed her a taxi. So it turns out I got two full nights for an average price of $80 a night and had the time of my life with a beautiful dark latina.

This was the end of my mongering on my first visit. But in conclusion I want to offer some observations on Pizza Alley. Just walk past the people begging you to come in and look for girls sitting together or alone at the patio tables. If you see something that looks acceptable to you, simply approach her and be courteous. Chances are, after midnight she is a working girl (aka Freelancer). Don't be afraid to start a conversation. If you wait on her to initiate the encounter it may not happen or it may not be the gal you want. The worst that can happen is she will decline your kindness. But the chances are good that if you are American, you will be invited to chat. Then, your own charm will determine if you take it to the next level.

Personally, I think I could have a great gal every night of the week at this place if I play the game right. But there are so many other options available that I want more. I guess this rookie has the fever and is ready to embark on his quest to become a true monger. (And of course I really want to learn to get a better price!)

RT here. So there I was in Lima on Friday night at 1:00 AM. I couldn't go to Tequila Rock (my, er, Liman girlfriend was out of town, but her roommate works there as well) and I didn't feel like going to a Turkish Bath or massage place, so I was trolling Pizza Alley.

If you spend more than 15 minutes there, it's fairly easy to spot the working girls, even if they don't just stop you and offer you a noche de sexo. They're the ones walking back and forth and back and forth and back and forth through the alley, looking to make eye contact with any unescorted men.

After shooing off a couple of beasts, and not moving quick enough on one cutie, a saw a nice thin body approaching from across Kennedy Park. She circled once and then passed near again. I let her catch my eye, and she came over and introduced herself (Claudia).

She said it was early, and that she wanted to go dancing somewhere. When I asked where, she wanted to know if I had heard of Tequila Rock.

I told her that we couldn't go there, because my 'wife' worked there and her friends would rat me out. We headed to Larco Mar, where both of the 'good' clubs were closed for private parties. We had a drink at one of the bars there, and when she asked where I wanted to go next, I said my hotel.

She explained that she was having fun drinking with me, but if we go to the hotel, she's working. I told her that I understood, and we settled on her staying overnight for $80 (short time rates are generally in the 150 Sole range: $46.88).

In between her grilling me to tell her who my 'wife' was, the sex was fine, and since it was almost 4 am, I fell asleep pretty much right after the fact, while she watched music videos. We both woke up at around 9, and I declined another round, and off she went with an extra 10 Soles for a taxi home, and I went back to sleep.

The moral at Pizza Alley is that if you're patient -- and have no problem saying 'no', you will do OK. If you're not able to say no to the advances of women you are not interested in, you will have a rough time there.

Just curious RT, what are the two good clubs at Larco Mar? I remember a few restaurants there, but was unaware of any clubs. And are they like Tequila Rock, or more mainstream?

There more mainstream. Hell, they're totally mainstream, from what I can tell. When you are facing the ocean, they're on the far left (lower level). Look for all the kids waiting in line to get in.

Also, coming soon to LarcoMar (on the far right) -- Hooters. They finally figured out where to put it.

Yes, hooters is there now, beautiful hooters girls. I havn't gotten to date one yet, probably wont.

Pizza Alley is the lowest cost playground in Lima for a reason. I have yet to run into anything more than a 5 there. However, one night I was approached, lets say surrounded by three chicas who wanted me to take them all home. I thought "what the hell" so I did. None of them were beautiful, I dont even think I took any fotos to post, but the sex was a lot of fun, and they did each other and encouraged me while I was doing thier friends. Lots of yelling and screaming, I like that. Anyway, if you are low on cash, and just want a release, yeah PA is OK. There is a short time hotel 1/2 a block away, ALL the girls know where it is. Maybe $30 for the nite. You can go in and out with as many chicas as you want. AND Tquila Rocks is 300 yards away if the streetwalkers bore you.

Now normally, I'm a pretty open-minded guy when it comes to chica selection.

But last week, Pizza Alley had the absolute worst selection of P4P girls that I have seen in my three years of mongering in Lima. I was there both Friday and Saturday nights in Prime Time (11:00 on Friday and midnight on Saturday) and the girls that were available were -- to put it mildly -- scary.

On Friday, I just headed over to Tequila Rock and found just what I was looking for, and I killed an hour on Saturday and went home alone (I had a date scheduled for 10 on Sunday morning, so it was no great loss).

I hope this was an isolated incident, but based on my experiences last week, I can't recommend Pizza Alley as a viable spot to find a date for the evening. The 'regular' girls, however, were outstanding both nights and offered plenty in the way of eye candy.

i wasnt impressed with the selection of ladies of pizza alley, .. the quality and quanity may have been the result of the presidents meeting the past week..

I saw about three ladies approach me during the week, nothing to write home about, all of them were of low quality..
