The last time I was in Rio, I heard that there are other dance clubs like Help! Does anyone know of any?

Several of them except target identification is not always as easy.

What are some of the names and there locations?

Scala in Ipanema is a good place;

Prophetg...Carioca is a term for someone that lives in Rio...it's not a person...Although there are many Carioca women I'd want to hook up with!

If you're into electronica and hip hop music (two levels of dancing with 2 DJ's), then Six is definitely the place to be! The place is pretty big and packed with people on the Friday nite I was there! R$50 entry for guys and I think R$25 for girls (some of the admission fee goes towards drinks) Once you walk through the door some one greets you from behind a computer and asks for your phone number and name which is entered into the computer. Then the person swipes something that looks like a credit card and which has a magnetic strip. Each time you order a drink, the bartender will swipe your card and that's how they keep track of your purchases. Don't lose the card, because you need it to pay the cashier upon leaving.

One additional thing. Always check your bill before paying. They love to pad gringos bills with others drinks at some of these places.
