My cherry voyage to Rio will be in mid-August. What's the situation this time of year? I hear it's low season. I assume there will be less girls. Will the prices be lower too for the girls? What will the weather be like? Where will the gems be found?

Night time early at 5:00 pm. Not much of beach action. Lower prices I don't think so. But Help was awesome in May and others have reported the same in June. Less girls yes but much better ratio like 2 to 3 girls for every guy at Help. Termas about the same as rest of the year.
Weather much cooler but shorts during the day in Rio.

Since most of Europe is on vacation in August, isn't Rio somewhat filled up with European tourists around that time?

If you are talking about low tourists, probably you are right, but if you are talking about the "hotness" of Rio, you are wrong! There are a lot of options, specially the girls. No in Rio you never have less girls. The prices for girls is a matter of conversation .
