I did not know that the famous Sao Paulo chain has hotels in Rio. I have just read about a new Parthenon Queen Elisabeth located between Copacabana and Ipanema, reportedly very nice and girl-friendly. Any information?

I don't think it's new but for sure not a new building. It's on the way to Centaurus. You could not reserve this hotel online on accor web site last year but now you can. I believe it is in the R$250 per night.
