A Candid Conversation with a Former Agency Girl

I had a unique opportunity for a candid conversation with a former Karla Escort, of famed renown, today. She is now freelancing but explained how the whole process works with Karlas (and similarly with other agencies). The conversation was made possible with the assistance of a person fluent in both Portuguese and English.

There has been much speculation on this board about splits, taxis, trocas, tips and other elements of using Escort Services. This is straight from her lips with clarifications requested when needed. She was very candid in explaining everything;

1. The programma cost of R$100 is split between the agency and the girl “BUT” the first 4 programmas per week go 100% to the agency to pay for housing and food for the girls. So, the girl does not make a dime until the 5th program of the week;
2. Tips are 100% to the girls;
3. Trocas (or changing at festas) are normally R$50 per change but many of us negotiate a flat rate for unlimited trocas. The girl gets to keep that entire amount;
4. Taxis-Normally R$20 in Copa and R$25 to Vips are whatever the meter cost. If there is change, the girl gets to keep it;
5. Top girls average about R$500 per week (which is above average minimum wage for a month for most Brazilians but also translates into 13-15 programmas per week). If a girl does not do enough programmas to pay for her housing cost, she must make it up on future programmas or is let go if she can not meet her minimums;
6. The girls must pay the agency R$250 for having their photos on the internet and to pay for the photographer;
7. They live on site at the agency M-F and are allowed to go home on weekends;
8. If a customer complains, the girl is almost always considered at fault and may not get paid if a substitute/replacement is requested by the client;
9. They are not supposed to accept programmas when they are having their period but some lie about it and do anyway. Most don’t unless they are desperate. This is probably the main reason that substitutions happen.

Who is the former Karla girl? Is it Claudinha? She recently left the agency after seeing her boyfriend get shot and killed.

Nope. They like chocolate but they're not fools. The chocolate is used back at the apartment/hotel to enhance the quality of the services rather than their price.

Karlas forbids it. If they are caught, they are fired without appeal. Copa and Ipanema are too small to risk being seen by someone they know. In addition, most have families and kids and the weekends are the only time they get to see them.

Oh...Bwana. She said she would love to be invited to a festa as a free lancer.
