I'm arriving in Rio on March 19, 2005 and that will be a saturday night. I heard most of the cambios close early on Saturdays and are completely closed Sundays. In his guide, Bwana mentions that if I arrive around this time, it is recommended that I obtain Brazilian currency before I arrive in Rio. Where can I get some $R in the states?

You can get it at GIG, from an ATM, located on the upper level in the terminal near the restaraunts, post office and shopping area. Just ask for "Ay-tee-emmee" and you'll find it.

Schedule at least a 5 hour layover in Miami.
Hire a Brazilian hooker.
When you're done bangin her, tell her you want to pay her with a personal out of state check, and get change back in Reals.
If she goes for it, you're all set.
If not, get ready for a sound Turking.

Don't be a fool (anymore?), don't use a cambio, especially in Miami (let alone in Rio). Use an ATM, they are very similar to the ones they have in Amerika.
And please don't create anymore new threads until you have something useful to add? We'll find your questions in the existing threads most likely (some of use enjoy the humor).
