These are only a few of the sights in the Recoleta area. There is something about Buenos Aires that really made me fall in love with it. I didn't get to spend nearly enough time exploring the city. The beautiful chicas kept me very, very busy but I did manage to get out a few times and do some sightseeing.
All of these photos were taken in the Recoleta area. Hopefully they will give you an idea what that area is like. You may feel like you are in Europe.
Have fun!

This is not just a horse statue. That is San Martin. If you are in BA, you have to learn who San Martin is. He is more important than Simon Bolivar, and saved his ass.

I regret to correct you CP. The statue is of Alvear as in Alvear street. He was another hero of independence. San Martin holds court in the centro in Plaza San Martin.
The statue I liked best was of Mendoza in San Telmo. Vandals had poured blood red paint all over his sword and for once enhanced the accuracy of the artist.
