About 20 years ago I visited Paraty which I loved. I want to go back there and I'm sure things have changed. Does anyone have a clue as to whether escorts/dates are available in Paraty. Or would I have to find one somewhere else (Rio..Angra..) and just bring her along with me?

Pak your own lunch. And Paraty is still Beuatiful, but since the road was fixed in Angra (about 10 years ago), it's been over-run by tourists. Still worth visiting, though.
