The Pacifico Royal is now a Radisson. This is a very nice hotel... but the location is not optimal for most hobby activities as it is in the far south. On the other hand, it is one block from Unicentro, and if you have a reason to stay in the South it is a very nice alternative.

But it's expensive, about the same rate as the IC. Rates are quoted at over 200.000,00, but I name-dropped a F500 company and asked for my corporate rate and they gave me a rate of 150.000,00.

I found the room to be very nice.

Worked great!! Just like a day in the office. They give you a "twisted pair converter box with RJ45 port" made by TUT Systems - it plugs into the phone jack and gives you an ethernet cable. The box has IP/DNS setting instructions.


Breakfast buffet is included in the room rate - I found it to be the standard fare.

There is a nice swimming pool and hot tub. Rooms 309 and two others have outdoor private hot tubs - but be sure to ask if they are working and not out of order.
