Great Italian Restaurant in Ipanema. If you are looking for a scene with Actors/Actresses etc this is the place.. My garota spotted three actresses of the "Novelas". I had the tuna medallions dipped in lemon sauce. It was outstanding.. The bill of course was very expensive.

BS-never been there. Just read about it being vote #1 in a special section of the paper.
I know it is in Ipanema somewhere. Probably in the phone book too.

Out of curiousity, what is your guess in Reals on price for a full blown (dinner, appetizers, salad, wine, desert, coffee etc.) meal for two?

Gero in Sao Paulo is clearly one of the best restaurants in the city. I assume that this is the same deal only in Rio.

The entrees were around R$ 40 per person. The appetizers were expensive ~ R $30. It will cost you R $200 for 2 if you relax on wine. I figure if you go for the app, dinner, dessert, wine and coffee.. it will cost you R $300ish.
