This casa just re-opened after having been closed for months. It is within one block of another casa I reported on earlier, Av. Alameda Franca, 175.

Today I visited it for the first time and was pleased. There were about six garotas, none of whom were bad, although clearly some were better than others. The mama-san (is there a portuguese word that is equivalent?) moved over from Av. Alameda Franca 175, presumably with some of the girls, although I didn't recognize any today. The mama-san is reasonably friendly, something I appreciate in casas.

I had a good session and based at least on this one visit can recommend the place.

Prices are R$100 per hour, R$60 per half, and something in between for either 40 or 45 minutes. A tad high perhaps (Al. Jau is R$90 per hour), but we are not talking big price differences or gouging.

Incidentally, Av. Alameda Franca, 175 is going strong under new management. Since the two houses are so close to each other, if you don't see what you like at one, you can be at the other within three minutes at most.

Stopped by this place after checking out Alameda Franca 175. The selection here was definitely better. Of the three prives I have been to on this trip, this one is the best. Prices still as LAguy quoted above.

Dogbert; Interesting. My recent experiences have tended towards Alameda Franca 175 having better talent than 240, but on one visit it was the other way around. Combining this with your not so good impression of Alameda Jau 480, which also has tended to have substantial quality changes from month to month, it shows one cannot reliably know which prive is going to be the best/worst on a particular day.

Laguy, indeed, I wish I knew the behind the scenes information. Like how they find the girls, how they determine who works and on what day. The longevity of women at a prive, how they rotate from one to another. I found on this trip that my Portuguese got a little better (but still not very good lol) and that I was able to communicate with the women much better. I am fascinated by some of their stories about where they work and by their life stories. It really opened another side of Brazillian women that I had no idea about. For those of you that are down here quite often, I bet you could write some fascinating books about this place and the women.

In my opinion this prive is the nicest in the Jardins from a decor standpoint. The room I had here was very spacious with a stain glass window and built-in shower/toilet combo.

My first visit back in May 05 I was quoted 10OR for 1hr, 70hr for 40 minutes, and 50R for a 1/2hr. The selection was limited to 4 girls.The girl that greeted me at the door was named Elisa and my gut was to choose her. But, I choose a very pretty 19 year old girl from Bahia with a very slim waist and big naturals.

Her name was Kelly and she had only been working a short time. Unfortunately, her looks did not translate over into a real hot time in the room. BJ was covered and anal was a no-no. In fact it took me a 1/2hr to convince her to do photos of just the body. Anyhow, this girl will be continued in my adventures at Prive Assis 449

When I stopped in last week Elisa was still working there along with two other non-doable girls. However, I have read on GPGuia that Elisa is very timid, which could lead to a sub-par experience. The prices that were quoted I think have deceased but in my old age I cannot remember what they were.

Bottom line is in my opinion, for what it is worth, the selection should be better given the location, pricing, and the decor of the prive

Went by there today... Looks like they are closed or renovating. I can see holes in the roof where they are tearing away partitions from the outside.

240 has been spotty; sometimes open, then closed for a few months. 175 is more reliably open, although probably closed on Sundays.
