I was there in the early 90's and as the guy said, everything is available. Lot of very dark black with African features but you can also see many examples of where the early plantation owners took a little afternoon relief from the tropic heat and humidity. Also, a lot of descendants of early English settlers and parolees from neighboring French Guyana (Devils Island) are to be found.

It is hotter than hell there and I think every stitch of clothing I had with me came home soaked.

Tougue, leave your suits at home (unless your host or client recommends one) and make sure it is made of cotton.

There are a few clubs here.
The best I went to was Olympia. It has about 15 girls from Brazil inside. They range from 5 to 8.
