); other times a cold beer will do the job. Sometimes . . . ENOUGH ALREADY, LET’S GET ON WITH IT! So, today was a Cheeseburger and beer mongering day. I was going to check out some casas in Carrao or Santana, but noted there was a casa/bar, previously unexplored, located within maybe four blocks of my hotel. The casa/bar is located at Rua da Consolacao, 2388, a couple of blocks from the intersection of Avenida Paulista and Rua Augusta. According to my research on www.gpguia.net, it is a budget place but with good ratings. The time had come for a test drive.
As I approached, the place didn’t look fancy from the outside (where there is a sign “Relax”) and given that prices start at R$20, I didn’t have particularly high expectations.
As I entered, there was a small bar to the left, with one garota seated, and a relatively dark room to the right with four garotas. The price menu posted on the wall indicated the costs for a garota and room (the rooms are in the back) are: R$20 for 20 minutes; R$25 for 30 minutes; R$30 for 40 minutes, and R$50 for an hour.
After spending a few minutes in the dark room, I concluded that while there were perhaps two candidate garotas, it was damn difficult to see them well enough to make a choice I could trust. I therefore walked out to the bar, checked out the garota there, and decided she would do just fine. Very nice body (slim but with the right curves) and not a bad face. For these prices, it looked (pending a performance test) like I had discovered a bargain.
I chose R$30 for 40 minutes. I was given a clean towel for the shower. The beds were double beds although not high quality. I cannot say whether the sheets are changed with each session, although at least there was no evidence they had not been (hmmm).
The garota allowed a few pictures, and after telling me a couple of times a BBBJ was not possible proceeded to give me a BBBJ, something that is often harder to get at the barebones places. During the session I asked whether she did sexo anal, and she indicated yes but it would cost more, but when asked didn't give me a price but essentially shrugged. I somehow managed to go two rounds in the 40 minutes, and ended up leaving a R$20 tip which she was happy with. Overall, a job well done.
I give the place a thumbs up, subject to the usual caveat that at these budget places, sometimes you find what you want, sometimes you don’t. Indeed, as I was leaving there were two additional garotas in the line-up, neither of whom I would have considered a session with. At the budget casas and bars you have to try to find the good, from among a line-up that often on average is not real impressive. I am happy to report that on this one day I did quite well.
What I particularly like about this place is it is within a few blocks of the hotels many of us stay at. As a marker it is two to three blocks from the Renaissance Hotel, for example. If you are in Sao Paulo for a limited stay, and want to explore the high end only, this place is not for you. But for those of us who like to monger at all levels, and have some time to do so, this casa/bar is worth a look and see.
