Located on Ave Dr. Eduardo Cotching, 1178, east of SP, 30 min sounds like looking at map. Swim pool club probably opening around 15:00 mon to sat.

It's in the suburb but not bad if you take the metro Line 3 (red) heading east, exit at Carrão station. Then grab a cab and head south maybe 5 min, located in Vila Formosa.

It was 45 minutes ($63R) from Moema. They had their 5th aniversary party on Thursday night. Place was totally packed. Bring ID if you want to use the card. Rooms are very nice, with great bathrooms, just like Millenium. Place is laid out very nicely with Boate and nice restaurant area, again similar to Millenium. Lots of hot chicks, most in nice evening gowns. Way way way way way too many dudes but most weren't players so it was easy to pick girls. I am anxious to check it out on a normal night (without five million dudes). If you take a cab there solo (like me) then you will spend about one sessions worth of cash on the taxi. I might try the metro next time. Athos, do you know if it's safe to travel solo to Vila Formasa on the metro?

Connections rocks.
I took the metro red line to Carrao station, then a 10 real taxi ride from there. The place is in a sort of run down area so was second guessing the decision to go. THey opened at 3 and was inside by 315 pm. There were about 15 girls, only 1 was not doable.
The entry is a consumption charge and was 50 reals (good for 6 beers). If you do a girl they waive this requirement. The inside of the bar is nothing short of spectacular. Seating area for what looks like hundreds. In the back they have a swimming pool and barbeque pit. There are 40 suites upstairs, all with whirlpool tubs, and very spacious.
They do not offer much in the way of food but have a limited menu of hamburgers and cheese plate appetivers and such. They also offer Sushi which was good.
Cost to do a girl is R$200 for an hour. There were a LOT of hot chicks. I am told they have 80 that live on premises. Another 40 or so come and go all the time.
Bottom line--this gets a big thumbs up. It is a better value then the termas in Rio. Plus, the facility is the nicest of any bar I have been inside. Whoever thinks Sao Paulo is more expensive than Rio isnt going to the right places. SP CAN be more expensive, but I have always maintained there is not much correlation between price and quality.
By Mitchc on Wednesday, April 14, 2004 - 10:12 am: Edit |
metro was a great idea. i paid about $75R from Jardins each way, i think for a taxi. i also liked this place very much. very difficult to find a tourist in there also.

I returened to Connections yesterday to fetch Coffeemaker. He sessioned with a girl named Shyntia who was a 10 in looks. HE said in the cabine she wouldnt kiss and was sort of mechanical. Overall the talent was still very very high in terms of looks. I continue to think Connections may be the best bar in THE WORLD. It is a better value by far then the higher end termas in Rio.
HOWEVER--there are better values then this place in Sao Paulo. The quality of the sessions had by myself, LAGuy, and Coffeemaker was equal to the sessions you have in high end Ts in Rio. But still these sessions are not as good as what you can buy for 1/3 the price at lower end places in RIo and Sao Paulo. I had a better sessions on Rua Augusta for R$70. There...I said it.

I liked Connections very much. Great atmosphere. Very spacious. Big, very clean cabines with very large beds. Since both of the cabines I used had squeaky beds I had to turn up the music.
This place was full of do-able girls with several 9's and 10's. Rio or any other city could definately use such a Bar.
By Laguy on Friday, April 16, 2004 - 07:10 am: Edit |
I also liked Connections alot and recommend it highly, even though it is a bit out of the way. My bed didn't squeak, but then again, I wasn't using it as a trampoline (sp?), as I suspect Coffee Maker may have been. I lucked out with my session as it was very good, but had to go through a series of interviews before I could find a garota who was willing to let me take pictures(unlike places like Rua Augusta, where I rarely have any problems with this).
I would easily recommend this place over Bomboa, and it is a bit better than Bacos.
By Laguy on Tuesday, April 20, 2004 - 09:08 pm: Edit |
Okay, I'll be a man and admit my mistake in defaming Coffee Maker. I just returned from Connection, and while it may well be the best boite and/or terma I have visited, there was one problem. I got my garota in the room, started doing my thing (so to speak) and all of a sudden heard a roaring "squeak, squeak, squeak," coming from of all places the bed. If Coffee Maker wants to retaliate, he should take into account that retaliation has already been effected; my session was almost ruined as I then had to concentrate on trying to keep from bursting out laughing (given my earlier trampoline comment), since that would have been hard to explain to the garota with my limited Portuguese language skills.
Aside from that, the rooms are terma suite quality (with some variability from room to room, including on the squeak factor--my second session tonight did not have that problem; also one of the rooms I was in today did not have a whirlpool tub) and, as GCL says, the place rocks. Anyone who says you can't get a Rio terma quality experience in Sao Paulo for Rio terma prices (or even less) needs to try this place. Highly recommended.
And for those of you who are wondering, the sushi/sashimi platter they give out, which is quite good, is free, as is some of the other food.
By Laguy on Wednesday, April 21, 2004 - 07:46 am: Edit |
Just learned from their website, which is now www.connectionvip.com.br, that the sushi thing is Tuesdays only (I have been there two consecutive Tuesdays). They have other perks other days.

Can you visit on Thursday and Friday? Erotic Bingo night and "Noite do Longo". (What the hell is that??)
By Laguy on Thursday, April 22, 2004 - 08:05 am: Edit |
GCL: you are the Portuguese language expert; you tell me what Noite do Longo is. Having said that, my trusty dictionary says Longo is a long dress or evening dress. Personally, I prefer the skimpy bathing suits most of the garotas wear on the other days, with the exception of those on garotas with eyesore bundas (of which there were four or five (out of perhaps 50 or 60 garotas) last Tuesday).

Laguy: thanks for admitting the obvious. A can of Wd-40 might be adviseable for the next trip to connections. Not for the inside of your condom or for your girl. But for the bed springs. With Wd-40 in hand I'm confident this is the best boite/terma I have visited.

The following TripReport snippet is taken from 2004/05 Laguy's Sao Paulo Ins And Outs
In contrast to Bomboa, I love this place. This is a great bar, with many attractive garotas, a pleasant staff, and some perks adding to the value you get here. There is a small indoor swimming pool in one of the public rooms (although I didn't see anyone jump in), pool tables, and on-premises rooms (equivalent to terma suites with hot tubs) for $R200 per hour all-inclusive (i.e., including the garota fee and the room-basically basically the same deal as in a Rio terma, although all the sessions are for one hour). Unlike a Rio terma, the men keep their clothes on in the bar, i.e., there are no robes. There are also some small go-go stages where garotas dance on and off.
There is a minimum consumption charge of around $R50 for entry but the minimum charge is waived if you have a session with a garota. In this case, you pay for what you have actually consumed with no minimum imposed. This bar is highly recommended although taxis can get pricey (but see below), particularly if you are going solo.
A small downside though is most of the garotas I interviewed there were not photo friendly, i.e., would not agree to have their pictures taken. Some did, however, and I have no complaints about the sessions I had there. Note though my conclusion about the lack of photo friendliness is based on a small sample, and reflected what I found from pre-session negotiations, as opposed to the opposite strategy of easing into the issue of photos during or after the session.
How to get there: The address is Av. Dr. Eduardo Cotching, 1,178, Tatuape, Sao Paulo. To save on the taxi fare (and also to avoid traffic delays) take the Metro to the Carrao station, and take a taxi from there for around R$10 to R$15. As you exit from the Metro station, you should head south rather than north to the taxi stand; this will make for a shorter taxi ride. After leaving Connection, you can, of course, do this in reverse, so long as the Metro is still running. Otherwise, you may be looking at somewhere around R$50 to $R60 for the taxi back, depending, of course, on where you are going.

Went here yesterday with MitchC and GCL.
Facilities: 10+++ off the charts..
Talent: 2
Neither I nor GCL could find someone to bang. Mitch didn't seem to have that problem after keeping his jimmies bottled up for a month.
We left about 7:00. Just before that I was outside making a phone call and about 90 of the house hotties were waiting for a bus to take them to Minas for some kind of convention.
Sucked for us.
By Laguy on Saturday, June 26, 2004 - 05:27 am: Edit |
Sounds like the problem is they sometimes are contracting out their talent to other places, leaving very little for the club. I saw this posted elsewhere as well. My earlier recommendation now depends on how often they do this since obviously it is not worth going to if their best talent is sent elsewhere.
By Mitchc on Sunday, June 27, 2004 - 09:29 am: Edit |
i have to agree with Dood. other than the whore that i tagged, there was not much talent there at all. we did see some attractive cock-suckers walking in about 7:00, however.

Millennium, Vagao and Connection are owned by one owner. Talents are being circulated among these three clubs. If talents are rented out to other event or location, that is major drawback for all of us on that night or week.
By Laguy on Monday, June 28, 2004 - 11:36 am: Edit |
I heard that Bacos is also owned by the same owner (didn't know about Vagao having the same owner). Is this--that Bacos also has the same owner--correct?
By Athos on Monday, June 28, 2004 - 05:41 pm: Edit |
Bacos is in the boondocks and is also owned by Connection owner. Since millenium uses connection garotas, makes sense to have same owner. Vagao is an asian hangout like 99.9% clientele is asian.

This place is a real hike. If not for the metro I wouldnīt have gone. I went for sushi night last night and was completely unimpressed, not with the talent nor with the food. I got a thing against spinners and short girls. With few exceptions, they all appeared to be way under 5 feet.

I love this place. I was there two weeks ago and it was the best time of my life. I will write a trip report sometime soon. For those that did not like it, the place doesn't get moving until at least 9 pm. Before then, there are some good times to be had, but it is random. After 9 pm, it is the best place on earth. And that is coming from a Rio termaholic.
In the meantime, does anyone know of any nice hotels near to Connection?

This place blew last night. I was there from 2pm until about 1am and there was not much to choose from. I pulled a couple of sessions just to pass time between pool games, but basically, it sucked. Factoring in the distance from Jardins, this place is off the list for the near future. BTW, the Metro from Jardins is mega-fast (props to GCL). Get off of the red line at the Tatuape' stop then take a 10-15R cab to the whorehouse. Metro stops at midnight so plan on a cab back. My cab back to Jardins was a cheap $45R, which is actually not too bad.

It must have been dead at 2pm on a Saturday at Connection. I was there on a Saturday and around 7pm, you can see a lot of the girls leaving for the weekend. I would say there is about 30% of their usual staff there on Saturday. Best days are Thursday/Friday around 10 pm. It is truly awesome.

I give the thumbs down to that place. First there is this no kissing rule inside the club, second over 90% of garotas fail my interview while at bomboa they respond a lot better more similar to rio. I am not returning to connection until I hear they change their stupid rule. Wow the metro during rush hour was an experience, sardines and sweat, was just happy to stay alive.
By Mitchc on Friday, November 26, 2004 - 10:41 am: Edit |
Glad to hear you took the metro. It is so much faster and cheaper especially at that time of day. Did you get off at the Tatuape' stop? How much was cab from metro to whorehouse? I paid $13R.
By Athos on Saturday, November 27, 2004 - 04:37 am: Edit |
R$13? what can i say Mitch? I think it was between R$15 and R$20 from Tatuape. I am also walking now to bomboa from metro clinicas. My friend found an 18 year old first week on program yesterday so I may return to connection and look for her. For metro, best is to go after 19:00 to avoid rush hour.
By Hunterman on Sunday, January 23, 2005 - 12:22 am: Edit |
I went to Connection last Sunday night with Laguy. The place had about 25 or 30 garotas working, with half that number of guys. There were at least half a dozen HOT garotas I would have liked to do (if they passed the interview). I had a great session with Nada, a cute blonde spinner with a great smile. We were told that the place was slow on weekends, there would be twice the number of garotas there on weekdays.
Based on such a good experience and the promise of even more hotties, I returned on Monday to wait for my flight out (and session a couple of times). I got there at 5, there were only about 8 garotas and a dozen guys. A woman who obviously worked on staff there came up to me and asked me if I was looking for anyone special, I said "Nada," and she called her. Nada showed up 30 minutes later (along with her friend), and we had another great session (including anal). But when we came out, there still weren't many garotas to choose from, and the ratio was about 1 to 1.
I chatted briefly with a few garotas, but nobody who was available really turned me on, and not many more girls came in while I recovered for another session. At 8:15, I finally saw a doable garota free up (the ratio was still about 1 to 1, with a little movement of the garotas), so I grabbed her for my last session in Brasil (which was good but not great).
As I was leaving at 9:30, I saw that a lot of eye candy had arrived while we were occupied. The airport was a R$126 cab ride away, I was wishing I had called the service that took me from the airport to my hotel (they gave me a coupon for a 10% discount).
In all three sessions, the beds squeaked horribly. I had to reposition perpendicular to the head-foot orientation, and that minimized the distraction.
Reading comments above, I guess I was there too early Monday for a good selection. But I'll go back, I like the place a lot.
And thanks to Laguy for his guidance while I was in SP.
By Laguy on Sunday, January 23, 2005 - 11:37 am: Edit |
Since Hunterman and I went on a Sunday, the lineup was weak although not terrible. While Connection is one of the few higher-end clubs in Sao Paulo that is open Sundays, it does not draw the crowds on Sundays that Luomo, e.g., does. With Luomo, it benefits from the fact most of the other termas in Rio are closed Sundays and we out-of-towners need a place to party seven days a week. In contrast, in Sao Paulo there is no group of out-of-towners looking to monger, and the locals for the most part do not partake on Sundays. That most of the other clubs are closed Sundays does not really benefit Connection and therefore the lineup suffers then.
Nonetheless, I think Hunterman got at least a taste of how good Connection, and similar Sao Paulo clubs can be. The one thing that is difficult to figure out is the best times to visit some of these clubs, since it is not always the same time for each club. For example, Hunterman and I checked out a few places on Rua Augusta later that same Sunday night, and one in particular--Balenario--was almost deserted, and the one next door--Casarao--relatively packed. At other times, I have seen the exact opposite with these same two clubs.
I should add I am beginning to feel a bit inadequate with my performance at Connection. I have had four or five sessions there, and only managed to make the beds squeak once. Is it me, or are they giving me the rooms with the better beds?
By Athos on Sunday, January 23, 2005 - 11:45 am: Edit |
Laguy
No complaint on my part, older facilities but bed was nice.
Best time to hit connection, millenium, bomboa is 10:00 pm to get full lineup. I like to get there early at 8:00 pm to eat early and see selection come to work in regular street clothes.
By Laguy on Sunday, January 23, 2005 - 12:26 pm: Edit |
It should also be mentioned Connection recently renovated some of their rooms, and the room I was in on this last trip was quite good. I don't know if the renovation is complete at this point. I think it was Layne who mentioned the same thing about Connection's sister club, Cafe Millenium. Unfortunately, Connection at the same time "renovated" its cost schedule, increasing the one-hour session from R$200 to R$220. I'm not sure about Cafe Millenium.
By Laguy on Monday, January 24, 2005 - 07:21 am: Edit |
Now that I have had some time to contemplate the squeaky bed problem I am leaning towards the view Connection uses squeaky beds like speed bumps. When they spot a real aggressive looking type and want to rein him in a bit so as to prevent damage, a squeaky bed is assigned to throw the villain off-stride (aka "off-stroke"). A reasonable solution to a difficult problem.
Any comments Hunterman or Coffeemaker?
By SOG on Monday, January 24, 2005 - 01:01 pm: Edit |
Noway coffemaker could make a bed squeak. He dont have it in him.
By Laguy on Monday, January 24, 2005 - 02:11 pm: Edit |
SOG: On first appearances I might agree with you about Coffeemaker. But based on the company he keeps, I wouldn't be surprised if one of these days I flip through the papers and see his grinning face in the crime section. No, I'm afraid the man needs speed bumps, and probably much much more.

Connection had an ok lineup this week with mainly 7īs and a few 8īs. Easily half dozen I was interested in but I am sure you can find a lot better at Millenium.
By Laguy on Saturday, May 21, 2005 - 07:16 am: Edit |

By Athos on Thursday, May 26, 2005 - 11:27 am: Edit |
Connection had the best lineup this week in SP. Quite a few girls fail my interview but if you are patient enough, you should find one with all the prerequisites. This week mostly 6, an 8 here and there. I noticed ugly in SP means falling ass, while in Rio ugly means huge ass.

I was at Connection May 21st, a Saturday, and I wasn't impressed. It wasn't worth the trip IMHO, though I took home an attractive girl. In comparison, I loved Millenium during the week.

Saturday is not a good day to test any club in SP. That is not to say you cannot have fun on Saturday, just that it isn't a good day to decide on the merits of a particular club.

I went to Connection on Tuesday night this week. I got there early and had a nice session with Marcela. Excellent kisser, bbbj, anal, and super personality. She is a morena spinner, above average face, but not beauty pagent winner in that area. The place really got going around 10pm or so, and the talent got better as well. Evidently there is a shift change around 8pm, with some of the dayshift girls leaving.

I forgot to add in my earlier post. If you go to Connection and donīt speak a lot of Portuguese (I only speak a little and bring my pocket dictionary with me, which can be fun), look for an older waiter there (I have forgotten his name), he speaks good english and can help you negotiate/interview the garotas. He certainly helped me out a lot.

Connection saved my time in Sao Paulo this week, solid selection, 7īs everywhere, easily 2 dozens pretty girls, few unattractive ones plus reasonable pricing, I tried 2 pretty ones and was out R$450 so same as termas in rio. I tried a Floripian, 19 year old Raissa very pretty and a Goianesa , pretty 20 year old 1 month gdp, both not safada but good enough to get job done. Thumbs up to Connection.

Wow a first for me, the taxi driver refused my money, i cabbed from Tatuape metro which is a R$15 ride. He told me he was getting R$25 from the house.
Connection is usually hit and miss and last night was a miss, i think best is to go to bomboa on wed and connection on tues. Futebol is just too important down here.
Still I managed to play with 2 gdps who gave me best of 3bj. I was shocked back to back best of my life oral.

During the Grand Prix in Sao Paulo, the mayor shut down Connection, Cafe Millenium, and a couple of other clubs for provocative billboard advertising. While they all have re-opened, it seems (but I'm not sure about this) their websites may have been casualties of this mini-crackdown. It is possible they have new web addresses though; if you are in Sao Paulo, check out the ads in the free tourist magazine, "Magazine . . ." that is available at most hotels. If Connection has a current website, it should be listed in their ad.

Visited Connection on Wednesday 2 August. Took the metro to Carrao station and then $10R taxi ride to Connection at 3pm. It is $60R to enter. There were only about 15 girls and no one interested me. So I had some pasta buffet on the house. At around 60pm a few more girls showed up and I did a session. Not sure what the cost for the girl are but I paid $279R. I didn't go over my $60R enterance fee. There was a guy taking photos of the place so many they will get their website going again. The manager come by a couple of times and make sure I was doing ok. He only been working there for a month. He speaks some english. I had a 11:30pm flight so had to leave by 8pm.
By Laguy on Friday, August 04, 2006 - 06:46 pm: Edit |
Unless things have changed recently, it is R$220 for the girl (including the room) for an hour and the R$60 is a consumption charge that is applied to the session if it is not applied to drinks. So Kojak, you probably had a session and R$59 reais worth of drinks. Does this sound right?
Not too bad a deal, especially if the pasta bar was worth anything (and assuming the session wasn't bad).
By Kojak on Monday, August 07, 2006 - 09:57 am: Edit |
Laguy,
I was in a hurry to get my luggage at the hotel and catch the airport bus at Praca da Republica so didn't look at the bill too closely. I thought they told me it was $240R for session. But you must be right because they only charged me $279R. If you can apply the consumption charges to the session, then the sessions might have gone up some because I was only drank couple of club sodas and order a $20R drink for a girl. The chef works at Spoleto's so it's ok. Not as good as Spoleto's but it is free. The manager told me that there are no sushi at this time of year because they feel it is a summer type food. I guess you can order other item on menu in addition to pasta.
There were only 15 afternoon girls and nothing to brag about. There were some 8's that arrived about 6:30pm. If I stayed, I am sure there would have been some cute girls.
The weather in SP last week was on and off rain. Most people were wearing coats and scarfs too. The lowest temp was 11C.

I went to Connection on Wednesday. The cover is $60 to enter for your drinks and food. The session is $240R. It is one of the better deals in town. They had free pasta in the afternoon and Sushi at night. You get lot more than Bomboa and Millenium. The girls were not as many as the other clubs.

Arrived here at 5:30p, min consum 70, 25 gdps. Saw the shift change, 50 gdps by 10p. Didnt see any tight, hard bodies. Many of the faces had excessive amount of makeup. Many were overweight. They should eat less nuts from the bar & use the exercise machines in the back. A 6 was the best I found but she (& several other gdps) had bad breath. No session for z. The sushi was better than the pussy.

Not sure about some of the information above.
I was at Connection last night with a fellow CH member who can reveal his identity if he chooses. We had a pretty awesome time.
First, there's no fixed price for a program. The girls there are free to negotiate any price they wish. Scanning the Brazilian boards, it appeared that the going rate was between R$200-300. I negotiated to R$200 for both my programs.
Also there are no "shifts," as the girls come and go as they please. They sometimes come in bunches because they are arriving from other jobs, etc.
Connection is a late night scene. Early on you get full-time putas. Later you get a mix of party girls, full-time putas, and girls coming off other jobs. When we arrived on a Thursday at 7:30 there were probably 25-30 girls. By midnight there were more like 125-150. When we left at 3:45 there were still well over 100 girls. The hottest girls seemed to roll in around midnight or later, and some were still arriving at 2:00. There were some absolute stunners in the mix, and a good deal of competition for their attention. Since it's the type of place where normally you chat with the girl, eat something, and have a few drinks before going to the rooms across the way, speaking Portuguese is a huge plus.
Connection is also a weekday spot. The girls say it's dead on the weekends and busiest on Thursdays.
So the pricing is thus:
Entrance/minimum consumption = R$70 (cash or card)
Girls fees = whatever you negotiate; normally R$200-300/hr (cash only to the girl)
Room = R$70 (cash or card when you check in to the room)
So, you could in theory get in and out for R$340 if you do one program and negotiate well. If you drink/eat a lot and buy for the girls, and if you go after the very hottest talent, you can pay much more.
I enjoyed the evening immensely; the girls were happy to chat, and surprisingly, none ordered expensive alcohol drinks; the food was quite good, and the atmosphere after about 11 was like a termas festa in street clothes. I'd been told that the girls were discouraged from making public displays of affection, and nothing could have been further from the truth. Girls pulled their tits out and put my hand down their pants to market their merchandise, and another gave me a nice lap dance while I sat on one of the benches awaiting the return of my partner in crime.
It's probably not a great place for guys on a tight budget, but if you want to see the locals at play and taste some of the good stuff, Connection is a great choice.

Connection has been shut down a couple of times as a result of some of the politics in Sao Paulo. I haven't been there for a year or so, but back then you were charged a reasonable fixed price for the 1 hour sessions.
I suspect but don't know for sure the unfortunate change in how they operate may have resulted from legal considerations that have been elevated as the political environment has deteriorated. Whereas under the previous fixed-price system (with all the money paid to the club) Connection could have been accused of pimping, the present system would appear to provide some protection against such a charge.
Back when it cost around R$200 per hour (with the consumption charge applied against the session) with a weak real, Connection was both a cool and relatively cheap place to go. It is now way too expensive for my tastes.
By Topfotog on Friday, August 01, 2008 - 10:10 pm: Edit |
I was told Connection had the same owner as Cafe Millenium which is now permanently closed (need varification) I had a decent time there last year when the fixed price was still in effect. The on site rooms are first rate, I must say.
It is also very far from Jardins (another minus)
By Laguy on Friday, August 01, 2008 - 11:15 pm: Edit |
Connection and Millenium had the same owners, as did the Liberal Club (can't remember its former name but it changed maybe two years ago), which is located even further out than Connection. Millenium was not fixed price and was set up pretty much the way Bwana described Connection these days.
It is a shame that not only has the real doubled relative to the dollar (more or less), but Connection's prices in reais have increased substantially as well. Certainly not the bargain it once was. But I guess that is the norm now in Brasil, at least at the more luxurious places.
By Bluestraveller on Saturday, August 02, 2008 - 09:07 am: Edit |
Twas I that had the honor of being Bwana's wingman.
It was a night to remember. LA Guy, it is true that Connection has been shuttered multiple times. I have to wonder out loud whether the rise in prices and the closings are related. Either way, someone is making more money.
One big change in Connection is now you have to leave the building to session. You go through the little roto door, across the parking lot and upstairs to get to the rooms. The stairway that was in the middle of the boite has been closed.
Another disappointing change is that the girls are no longer allowed to wear their sexy outfits anymore. Many were only in jeans. I asked why and they said the prefeitura made this change. Then they went on to say that the guy was gay, and that we should tie him up and stick a large dildo up his "*ss. Amazingly enough it was the manager of the place that was making the remark. He laughed and gave Bwana and I two free drink coupons.
I am not price sensitive but I never paid more than R$250 for a session. One woman however started at R$400 but quickly fell in line with market. Bwana had to play hard-to-get in order to get the Brazilian discount.
More news from Sampa. The very day that we were at Connection, word has it that Bomboa reopened. Also, the girls swear up and down that Millenium will reopen by the end of the year.
By Laguy on Saturday, August 02, 2008 - 09:35 am: Edit |
Although I have generally had good experiences at Connection (when they were charging what I thought were reasonable prices), one of the reasons I shy away from paying the prices they are now asking is that my most expensive sessions in Sao Paulo--at Cafe Millenium and Bomboa--were also my worst (from among hundreds of sessions in Sao Paulo). Although this may reflect more what is in my head more than actual reality, I have come to associate high prices with lousy sex. Accordingly, when I hear the prices that are now being charged at Connection, I lose interest (notwithstanding the good experience Bwana had there).
By Bwana_dik on Saturday, August 02, 2008 - 08:14 pm: Edit |
Connection is certainly expensive in comparison to some venues, but not to all.
For example, you can go into Connection, have a couple of drinks and a pizza and stay under your R$70 consumption fee, pay R$70 for a room (1 hour) and R$200 for a girl, and you'll walk out having spent R$340. At Centaurus, you'll pay R$420 for 40 minutes in a smaller room with no drinks or food.
Partying with Bluestraveller was a blast. A good time was had by all. And it was I who served as his wingman...
BTW, both of my sessions were excellent. Of course, it's always the case that YMMV.

Sao Paulo is getting a very expensive place and difficult to monger other than by Internet.
Was at Bomboa, last Thursday. The Club just reopenned one week ago. Ths system is changed: there are no more rooms above (say there are still 2 suites but the waiting is like on hour, you have to be really zen!) but you can leave with the girl with no charge and go to your hotel or a motel. But you still have to negociate with the girl and it is difficult to go lower than 300R. The nice thing is that the girl really want to "namorar" with you to get you to go out and don't pressure so much as before to go up in the rooms. Overall I found to quality to be much lower than my previous visits (at least 20 kg more on average!) and price is still 180R (with 7 drinks). So the best is to try several girls in GFE mode and finally choose one to finish up.
By Bwana_dik on Monday, August 11, 2008 - 08:56 am: Edit |
Just curious: how do you monger "by Internet?"
By Bwana_dik on Monday, August 11, 2008 - 09:50 am: Edit |
BTW, Explosantef, you might want to submit the information above under "Bomboa" rather than "Connection."

BD: I think he meant going with the escort sites and ordering up garotas for delivery instead of going to actual clubs/boites.

I was there in Sept, 2008. First time there being my wife is from SP and that was the first time I had been to SP without her. I made the trip to activate my new 5 year VISA. Way out east from Jardin and it took about 25 minutes to get there. I paid the cabbie to wait. Very nice interior with some 7's and 8's. Hooked up with a little blue eyed brunette with the typical INCREDIBLE Brasilian attitude we have all come to love. BBBJ, GFE the whole 9 yards. Didn't ask her for anal but I am sure it would be on the menu. Going back in Jan. 2009. WILL return to Connections.

Ballsyone: What are the garotas going for at Connection these days? I assume they still have chucked the fixed price sessions and one has to negotiate price with each garota?

"I paid the cabbie to wait."
Wow, how much did that cost?

I recently went to Connection on a Friday night. I took the metro to the Carrao stop and then a 12R taxi fare to the club. I arrived around 7:30. The entrance fee was 80R that can be used in consumption. If you are a light drinker (I am)it can last a while. A beer runs 12R and water/soft drinks around 10R. I had an individual pizza for dinner and I think that was around 20R. An onsite room here runs 70R for an hour and is very nice as is the club.
When I arrived there were around 12 to 15 garotas available. As the night went on more and more arrived. Around midnight there were at least 35 or 40.
I talked to a few garotas and settled on a 23 year old that said she used to work at Bahamas before it closed. She was a cute spinner that obviously spent time in the gym. She passed my interview without any problems until we reached the part about money. The local boards indicate that a number of the locals are paying 150R - 200R for an hour. She wanted a gringo/sucker price of 300R. I told her that I would pay the fair/local price of 200R. After a little discussion, she had no problem with 200R.
In the room, she spent a lot of time showering and doing a doing a dance around the room. My opinion was that she was stalling for time. Once I got her focused on why we were there, she did everything she agreed to in the interview. However, she was well short of superstar quality. She gave me her phone number and wanted to come out to my hotel for a session. I never called her since I had no interest in repeating.
I left the club after I finished my session which was a little after midnight. I took a taxi back to my hotel in Jardins and it ran 67R on the meter. Since many of the garotas arrive later in the evening, it really isn't possible to take the metro back to centro. The Metro closes at midnight.

Buffer- I try to get out of there by 11:30pm and take the bus that is right across the street most of the small buses goes to either metro so I don't care as long as it is a metro stop and then back to Paraiso where Mercure hotel is right next to. Next time, try one of bus from the metro station. They will have the street name right on the side or you can ask the driver to tell you when the bus gets there. It is a short street that Connection is on so anywhere along that stree will do for me. The bus is $2.3R. I haven't pay the taxi back from there in few years. I hate to waste money on taxi. They are just bandits in a car. Most will screw you if given the chance!
I'm in Curitiba right now. Are you going to be around next Monday?

I was charged $40R last night at Connection. I got there before 6pm and all $40R went to drink and food. Now that has to be the best deal in SP. The rooms are $50R before 7pm and $70R after 7pm. There were about 50 girls after 10pm.
By Kojak on Wednesday, July 22, 2009 - 08:02 pm: Edit |
Went back to Connection again to night at 6:30pm and the price is still $40R. They had free BBQ with rice, potato salad, and salad for free at 9pm-12pm. Lots of food for everyone. I don't see any other boate doing anything as much as Connection does. At about 9:30pm there were a big stream of girls showing up. I would said at least 60 girls by 10:30pm. Step out of club on 11:30pm and walk right across the street for a bus. Within a minute a bus come by to Belem metro station. At this time of night, it doesn't matter which metro station because it is a short ten minute right to any station. Then off to Paraiso station. All within 30 minutes and $5R.

Could you share how much the garotas were asking you for, and how much negotiating was required to get a decent price (which I imagine is in the 150 - 200 reais range)? Also, if you know, if they were surcharging for anal, or other services?
By Kojak on Friday, April 09, 2010 - 08:14 pm: Edit |
Laguy,
Sorry I didn't notice your question. Well this might help you out before you get here next week. I went to Connection today at about 5pm. The normal price is $80R but they still have the special of $40R from 2-7pm. And as usual, that all goes to your drink, food, and I believe the room too. The rooms are $50 before 7pm and $70 after. There were about 60 girls during the peak when the afternoon shift overlap the evening shift. You are correct in assuming $150-200R for session. I pay that last July. I didn't do a session today. But the girls would certainly gone for $200R. $150 would take a little more effort! I spoke to a girl who was interested in getting some phones from the U.S. She thought $700 would be a deal for a Nokia N97 until I told her it cost only $250. She is in love with me and would like me to bring her one! Some cell phones cost up to 5 times as much here.

I don't think the cover can be used towards the room fee. The room fee is paid directly to the people at the "hotel." This helps keep a "separation" between the club and what's going on at the hotel. Prior to a few years ago, there was a direct connection (pardon the pun) between Connection and the hotel (i.e., you didn't have to go outside to get to the rooms). The city govt. forced the club to make the changes so as to play down the fact that the club was little more than a brothel. As a consequence, the club can't collect the money for the hotel, even though they have the same owners.
By Kojak on Saturday, April 10, 2010 - 02:43 pm: Edit |
Bwana dik, I think you're right. Started last year you have to leave the club through the door and cross the garage to the rooms above. Before that you can go up the stairs inside the club. They removed the stairs.
By Laguy on Saturday, April 10, 2010 - 02:44 pm: Edit |
There is no question that as a result of the crackdown on the higher-end clubs by the municipal government, things have gotten more expensive than before, even taking Brazilian inflation into account. The irony is the crackdown did not seem to affect the less expensive boates that still have rooms on premises and charge an all-inclusive price for the room and garota.
I have a few theories as to why this is--ranging from the crackdown on the more expensive clubs reflects that they are more visible and therefore more of an irritant to the politicians who are anti-prostitution, to that they are more able to pay bribes and therefore become targets whenever policians put on the heat and the cops find a way to benefit--but I really don't know which explanation is the correct one. But, in any case, whatever the explanation I now frequent on a relative basis the cheaper boates and casas more than before, and the increasingly expensive clubs almost no more.
By Mitchc on Saturday, April 10, 2010 - 07:44 pm: Edit |
I have not been to Connections in years but I can't imagine how this separate hotel works. I seem to remember the rooms being within the same building, like directly upstairs from boate/food areas.
By Bwana_dik on Saturday, April 10, 2010 - 07:58 pm: Edit |
The stairs that took you from the main bar into the hotel area are gone. You now have to go out the front door with your girl, walk across the parking area (where the cabs would drop you off), and upstairs to the hotel. That was the requirement the city govt. forced on them.
By Kojak on Thursday, July 15, 2010 - 08:52 pm: Edit |
Connection is doing more remodeling and staying open with some workers walking around during the day. The swimming pool is filled in and now is the dining area. The old dining area is now lounge with sofa-like table and chairs. And a little further in from there is a sushi bar. The main area where the platform with some striper poles were removed. I guess they are making more room. The price is still $80R minimum consumption and $80R for room. I think the $40R before 7pm is still available.
By Catocony on Thursday, July 22, 2010 - 09:53 pm: Edit |
Yep, it's still good, and still way the hell out in the middle of Zona Leste. Entry is R$80, which goes towards consumption. I had a plate of pasta for dinner, it was edible. Drinks are about half the price of Bomboa and Cafe Photo. The hotel has gone to R$80 as well. Girls start negotiating at R$250 or more, apparently the GdP Union over there is a bit more flexible on pricing than the ones at Cafe Photo and Bomboa.
The suites in the hotel are pretty nice, I don't know if they're all the same but mine had a hot tub and everything. The mix of garotas was pretty varied, it sort of reminded me of the standard Help mix from around 2003. Mostly white garotas but some mullatas, a few Japanese, a few Indians/mixed. There were only a few that were smoking hot but plenty looked doable. Certainly, the talent level is well below Bomboa but than again, it's half the price.
I took the Metro out to Carrao and then a R$12 taxi from there to the club. Bending over the take the R$67 taxi ride back to the hotel was painful. Like others have said before, consider hitting this place during the day so you can at least Metro most of the way back.

Went to Connection last night with Topfoto. We took metro from Paraiso to Tatuape and then hop on bus to Villa Formosa. You can stop before or after Connection. A short walk of couple hundred yards. There is a bus stop right across from Connection where most buses goes to the metro stations. But you must get back to metro before midnight. The cover is still $40 before 7pm and $80 after. They started feeding the girls between 8pm-9pm but only the girls not like Bomboa where it is available to everyone.

The $40R special is only for weekdays. Sat is $80R. One of the girl said that they are open on Sunday. But don't see that on their website.
By Kojak on Saturday, July 16, 2011 - 12:51 pm: Edit |
The $40R weekday special before 7pm is still on. The rooms are $90R/hour. You take the elevator to the garage, get into the one next to it and go up above the club. After session, repeat. The room is paid separate when you get the key. And money directly to girl like most clubs. But I guess you can you use credit card for the girl too. They just charge a fee. The rooms are a little nicer now and the rest of the club is better too. They change the menu a little and of course increase the prices slightly.

I was here on Saturday night. Metro Republica to Tatuape and then taxi to club ($R16). I probably got there about 7 or so. Entry was $R80 with $R50 toward consumption. Beers were $R20. They had an excellent free buffet that I took advantage of. Portero watched my bag for me. I always go here on my way to the airport to get out of town and the hot girls always arrive exactly when I'm required to get going. Some of the daytime girls were remarkably large. There were maybe about 10 or so while I was there but more were starting to trickle in as I got ready to take off. Place did not look too different from my last visit many years ago except for the stairway to the rooms being gone. Seems like there used to be a pool in the back area but I just can't remember. I will return but I'm not going here on my leave-town day again.
I did take the bus (stop is directly across from club) to Tatuape and then another bus to GRU.
By Kojak on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - 11:47 am: Edit |
I was there yesterday about 4pm. It is $80R before 7pm and $130 after 7pm. The bus from Tatuape is the best deal for about $4R to airport. It runs about every 15min too. They had a buffet of chicken, rice, fries, and salad. I had the hotel call them and get the run down and Connection said the same thing that $50 of $80 was for consumption but I like to check my tab about a hour before leaving and they said the bill was $55R and I had $25R more to spent. So got couple more drinks and pay the $80R. All of the $80R is for consumption. There seem to be more plus-size girls there.
By Bwana_dik on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - 01:01 pm: Edit |
So the pool at Connection is gone? That makes sense, since I never once saw it in use. I've never been there early enough for the buffet; I assume they still have the little restaurant/dining area that was back towards the pool, behind the bars?
By Kojak on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 - 03:23 pm: Edit |
Bwana dik - They filled the pool in couple of years ago. Now the pool area is the restaurant. Next to it is a lounge area. Then the back of that is the smoking area with a small bar and group of tables. Because the area have open roof so they can smoke there.

Checked out Connections on Saturday. Took Metro to Tatuape then bus to Connections. Bus does take a while, maybe 20 minutes. It was just pouring down rain. $130R entry with $80 toward consumption (maybe four beers). I got there at 7:15 so I think I barely missed out on the discount cover. Lots of girls left later in the evening since there were few clients because of the rain. There were only two girls thin enough for me so I grabbed one. The other was busy all night anyway until I was ready to leave. Room fee is $100R, paid separately. Girl started at $300R I believe but she went for $250R. Great session. Cab back to Centro was around $80R. Obviously, it would be cheaper to leave earlier than I did and catch the bus/subway for $6.

Mitchc: Thanks for reporting on this place. They are not even reviewed on GPGuia so it is always good to hear that it is still in business. So the cost for the whole evening was 560R!=130+100+250+80? The session & room cost was for 60mins right?
I believe they no longer offer the early entry discount which was $70R before 5pm (in 2011)

Yes, assuming that your $80R was the cab fare. I actually went over my drink allotment so it was more like $660R total. Damn. Gonna try to concentrate on Kilt from now on probably. There were better girls in Kilt anyway.

The entry was $150R with $100R going toward consumption. There was no buffet.
