I would like to relocate and work in Brazil. Does anyone know of any Headhunters that I could contact for help in order to relocate? I've worked in the Hi-Tech Sales industry for the past 13 years.

Smirker,
If it is possible it will be extremely difficult. I've done some research as I'd like to do the same.
I'm a Java Developer and don't speak much Portuguese, but even if my language skills were better, there is very little to be found. If you learn more, please send me a PM.

Your best bet is to find the fortune 500 companies that have operations in Br. like Dell, Honeywell Bull, IBM and many others. Contact them and tell them you want a management job in Br. You may have to convince them you speak some Port. but most of their employees speak English. Better have a damn good reason why you want to live in BR......like your future wife lives there and won't leave her family. Also check out the US chamber of commerce site for companies that have operations in Br. It is a long list! Lastly, now that the investment visa restriction has been lowered from $200K down to 50K, you might just want to open a company here. Be prepared for a long and frustrating paperwork path but it can be done (use a professional to assist). You might want to import high tech equipment and re-sell it here (with an occasional piece or two being brought in by friends to avoid the absurd VAT on imports).
If you land a job with a multinational, they can arrange work visas but tell them to pay you in the US and in dollars so their tax burden is lessened and you can earn a bigger salary. Ask them to make you a consultant if possible and you can write off your expenses under a Vegas LLC.

Sandman.. what is the definition of investment in visa terms?

50K investment in a company or one that you start will get you an investment/work visa. The concept being that if you start a company here or invest in one that you will hire Brasilians. You can even name directors to the company that can also get visas. The more you invest, the more directors you can name.
Remember, Lula came out of the labor party. The labor party is the strongest party in Br. right now. They want to create jobs for Brasilians (and they damn well need to).
With the investment visa, you do not even have to go through a consulate. It goes through the Labor Dept. It can be time consuming and painstakingly complicated with paperwork but with a good attorney it can be done.

Best to have an attorney check for you but I know of several that are trying that route right now.
