Located in the legendary walled city of Cartagena de Indias, Hotel Santa Clara is in a restored 17th-century building that was once a convent. It is now regarded as a historic national monument. The complex includes Bóvedas de Santa Clara, and units in both buildings have views of the
Caribbean Sea. In addition to the amenities at the resort, guests will enjoy beach club services in the nearby Rosario Islands.

I just stayed at the santa Clara and it is not as chica firendly as people have indicated. I can certainly tell you that I was directed to the front desk requesting "her ID" every time and heck they would not allow one girl in. I knew that it was because she was a dark comoplexion, but I had no idea they were so discriminatory. Other hombres have written about Santa Clara and it is a nice hotel, but its the people at the bottom of the totem pole that make it so...if you are thinking about staying here, be prepared for some type of hassle or evil looks and stares from the hotel management. All in all for 200USD/night-I regret staying here and wish I would of just listened to my gut feeling and stayed at The Charleston hotel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TH HOTEL SANTA CLARA FOR TSM ACTIVITY!!!! They are under new Magmt. and it seems they do not approve of it. I even had to sneak girls in by tipping the door guys, but that proved to be very cumbersome and made the chicas feel uncomfortable-it showed in their actions in bed ~sadly
