I always found the Curitiba girls in SP to be some of the best looking girls around.

I can't tell the difference, they all look attractive to me. SP/Cur/POA. Curitiba is a big city so still plenty of coeds to play with. Too many boates to sample in a week's work. But day time sucks compared to Rio/SP.

When is your next trip Athos? BTW, I thought I read you were on some kind of herbal monger diet to increase virility. After reading your sex schedule, I'm starting to believe such things work.

Badseed:
I was referring mostly to the nonprofessional garotas in the promenades or shopping centers, but I also didn't see very many hot professional ones either. In Florianopolis or Porto Alegre all you have to do is turn around and you find another hottie, but in Curitaba it takes a few minutes for one to appear. Then again, I was only there 3 days, so I may not have gotten a fair sampling. But, nonetheless, I don't plan on returning.
Hmm, dunno, maybe it's all the Polish and Ukranian influences... ;-)

I have been here for a week and for me it is better than Porot Alegre. It might be the difference of staying near the Centro in Curitiba and not staying near the Centro in Porto Alegre. Amous - your roommate is having a great time. In Curitiba, you can rent an apartment for $200R in Centro. It is unfurnished and you need to pay utilities. That beat the hell out of the little hole you guys have down in TJ. There are also flats that are for $38R per night too. Lots of choices for a place to stay.

Sorry, Kojak, but Curitiba just doesn't do it for me, it reminds me of Long Beach, Cal (Dudsville)...well, not quite that bad...just about anyplace in Brazil is better than the best place in the states.
I know about the low rates in Brazil, that's why I plan to build a few houses in Brazil...so that I wont have to far to travel when and wherever the wind drops me.
Tell all the garotas you meet, to be patient...I'll be there in Sept.
Any updates on Curitiba? I may have to go there in Nov., I gather there's some good sightseeing and escorts at classisex.com--anyone been there recently?

For daytime sightseeing in Curitiba I recommend Linha Turismo (white tourist bus) www.viaje.curitiba.pr.gov.br
If you wish to go to Ilha do Mel take the Graciosa bus from rodoferroviara to Pontal do Sul Embarque para Ilha do Mel (very last stop, 2.5hrs). Better to purchase also your return ticket because the Embarque stop doesnt have a ticket sales office.

Hi, guys. I'm heading down to Curitiba in November with a buddy of mine. Any suggestions on what part of town to stay in? Looking for proximity to action, but safety is also a priority. Any hotel suggestions?

Oralskillz - Curitiba is a pretty safe town. I was there last week. Stay in Centro. It is not a big city so you can walk around the whole area without problem. Curitiba Sexy, Metro, La Ronda, and Vegas are all within walking distance. I always stay at Mercure Golden @ $100R/night. It has free internet connection but charge $35R per escort. You can make your reservation on-line. If you are flying in, you can take the airport bus for $8R that will stop near your hotel.
Thanks, Kojak. I'll definitely stay in Centro then.
Are there no hotels in CWB that are girl-friendly? I think it would be annoying after a while after having to pay R$35 for every girl I bring in. I will also be inviting non-pro (girl) friends over, so those R$35 per girl would add up quickly.
Thanks again.

They used to not charge but the last few years the Mercure Golden are charging. The last time I was there I told them to take the cost off since they didn't say anything about it when the girl showed up. This time, they make me sign a receipt for the girl. You may want to try Bristol hotels. They have many more hotels in and around centro. They have on-line reservations as well. They should be about the same price. Not sure of their policy on guess. I am into more on site sessions and casas now so guess fee is not a problem. If you walk in with you guess, there is no charge if you just by pass the front desk.
Kojak - so you mean if I walk in with a girl to my room, they won't charge me? But if I called for an escort and she shows up, they will? Strange system. I'll probably just look at other hotels so I would not have to worry about it.
Thanks for all the info.

You can buy a Area Vip magazine with six coupons on the back. The coupons are for Curitiba Sex, Metro, Cafe Paris, and Love Story. There are two for other cities. The magazine cost $6R but if you just use one, you would save $30R. If you can't find the magazine on the street, the clubs have them. The Curitiba Sex, Cafe Paris, Metro, and Love Story have the same owner. They all use the same entry card and same uniforms for the waiters. I been using mostly the casa around town and just going to the club at night for something to do.

There must be a new law against smoking in the boates now. I was in several clubs and there were no smoking at all. It is nice since I don't smoke. I see some girls steping out to get a smoke.
There is an indoor smoking ban (thank you, thank you, thank you).....pretty much everywhere. Did I mention how much I think this is awesome????
I have always enjoyed the small casas in Curitiba. I haven't been there in a few years so don't know what's going on now.
From what I can make out 'completa' means something else down there.

Zoner - We must have been there about same time last week. I was there on 31 March to 5 April. I stayed at Slaviero Aspen which is close to most clubs in Centro. You can call them and get reservation for $104R/night with breakfast. That is pretty good price these days. Curitiba does have better food prices.
To save entrance fee at Metro, Cafe Paris, and Sex, just buy a copy of Area VIP. It has coupons for $10R plus your drinks. Sex is now charging $70R.
