Video trip report...sounds interesting! I saw this being used on another side and decided to create my own.

It's a great way to enjoy and/or share your trip report in a unique way.

Very interesting. What program did you use?

I would recommend using smaller pics and cycling pics a bit faster. Between the high resolution and the amount of time it takes for the whole presentation it's no wonder the file's big. Many people don't have the time or bandwidth to download a 57mb file. Yeah, I did it in 2 minutes, but I'm a bandwidth whore (among other things).

Thanks Priew for taking us all along on "Priew's Most Excellent Adventure" the movie. Your choice of music was nice. Ms Priew is something special. Watching this made me start looking for plane tickets again. Your many hours of work are much appreciated. Cant wait for future installments.

Home run Priew! It took a long time to download, even on my cable modem, but it was worth it!

Love the music choices, and hope that a lot of hombres here will take the time to download it. Hope you don't suffer the same fate as my Thailand report. It was too big and took too long to download so not many people read it.

My advice to you fellow CH members is to do what I did. Set it to download, and then go back to the board window and continue your viewing on the board while you wait for it to download. Worked great for me, and it IS worth the patients!

Epi....thanks for the advice. Based on your suggestions, I increased the cycling of pictures and re-sized all the pictures. As a result, it went from a 57 MB file to 19 MB file. I am also trying to locate some software to create a WMA, MOV or AVI file, instead of EXE. file. (Which is not to safe to run!) Once this is all completed, I'll post it again. Right now, I can only find software to convert CD Audio files to WMA, nothing for Data Cds.

Epi....I used several different programs, including Picture Presentation Maker, Streamload.com, (KG Tunes 4.6 software to create MP3 audio files. In addition to this, a host address website service to store huge media files.

BTW, Epi....I should be confirming my plans to Thailand shortly. My tentative dates as of right now our Aug 14 thru Aug 31. I'm still looking forrward to that "Epi Tour of Pattaya".!

I initially created this for my family and friends, who were constantly bugging me to see my trip pictures. I thought this was an easy to distribute it to them, instead of constantly hauling a bunch of pictures around. And then it takes me forever to sort the pictures, remove explicit ones....etc.

But, with this new software, I'll be just emailing Video presentations/slideshows to friends. Perfect.

In regards to your previous question, our Penthouse has access to interent, but no computer. I think you were looking at the wrong Penthouse on the website.

And you obviously understand how hard it is to keep these reports simple. We get carried away in writing reports and don't want to leave nothing out & end up with huge files. At one point, this presentation was at about 160 MB! I had to do some serious editing

I've seen something like this before - Daytimer used a product (by Adobe?) for the same basic thing (albeit a smaller file ). It looks like software of this nature has grown up...

I may need to do something like this in the future - GREAT IDEA!!

Right now my SEA plans are a bit up in the air, but I should be down in Pattaya about that time. We'll hook up, grab a couple of motobikes and do absolutely NOTHING but eat GREAT food and fuck cute girls every day. Such is the life, eh...?

Priew, the effort was well worth it. Great job!

I am slowly evolving to videos and actually got lucky last trip. I've been playing with all sorts of video editing programs (none that you mentioned) but am not getting anything like the quality you are getting. The videos look fine on the camcorder, but when I burn it, there is distortion, clarity and lighting issues.

I think it was well done, it only took 1-2 minutes to load. My only complaint is that I got bored after waiting for each pic to change and after 2-3 minutes I didn't see any Titties so I stopped it. Needs to run faster, but great work.

I guess I am the only one that is having a problem with the trip report. It took almost 10 minutes for Priew's pic by the pool to appear. Then it took another 7 minutes for the next picture to come in. I waited another 10 minutes for the third pic and just got fustrated and deleted the file.

Thx for all the comments! I believe I enjoy the video the most because everytime I get the blues and miss my golden trips, I play my presentation! Just a temporary fix......while I await for my next trip in July!

In short, it's a video slide show the runs with 3 songs. It comprises of all my trips and it begins with a couple of scenery pictures from each location, as I realized most of us are not too much interested in the other type of scenery.

The first song is VERY short with scenery shots.....then the rest of presentation shows the ladies I met in different locations....with brief comments narrated on some of the shots.

I noticied a few people having problems....indicating that it takes too long for shots to appear. The program it set up with a 1 second delay for most of the pictures....then some of the pictures I increased it to 3-4 seconds to allow an opportunity to read brief comments.

If you are having problems viewing it, I would go with Val's suggestion and try loading the entire file (19 MB), before viewing it. If it is taking over a few seconds before each picture appears.....then the program is not working properly for you.

Priew, welcome back! for some reason the show hangs up on the first Bangkok slide. I've been frothing at the mouth since you first posted it, I gotta see the rest of the show. Any suggestions?

Blumpy.....I'm no computer guru, but you may want to try and download the entire file on your hard drive. On the URL path I provided to you...right click on this path with your mouse and use the "Save target as" method to save to your hard drive.

Or, if you haven't already, attempt to download again directly from the website.

With my cable connection using Free Download Manager breaking the file into eight parts, I was able to download it to my hard drive in less than a minute.
