It can be whatever you want due to the island being only 2 1/2 hours South of Rio. Go into my site under "destinations" then "Angra" for pics of the place. A regular comment from my clients is: "...if I knew about this place, I wouldnt have spent my full two weeks in Copacabana". The only thing is that you have to bring company.

Yongtom-- All the travel agents have day trips there, 55R per person. There is alot of great snorkling, you can rent the stuff there, lots of sea life.

These trips you are refering to are merely day trips and you just drop by the island for an hour or so and by the time you make it back to Rio you'll be very expired. My package includes two meals per day, overnight, 35 foot boat rental with crew and more. PLEASE lets compare apples with apples.

Jose, I'm definitely leaning towards a trip to Angra and/or Buzios...may be towards the first week in September, as I need to find a young lady to accompany me, so the first part of my trip will be a scouting expedition for a travelmate...heh...termas here I come...anyway, keep a spot open for me...

I think most folks go to Angra dos Reis to catch the ferry to Ilha Grande. Went to IG twice last month. Donīt ask why
