Sorry, for my absence, but my computer crashed and I just bought one and set it up today. My problem speaking Portuguese. Just cannot pick up the language. I speak a little spanish, but that's it. the pronounciation is the problem. Was listening to a Brazilian radio station FM104 and I could not understand a shit. I want to mee this garota in Ipanema, but when my computer crahsed I lost everytihng including her pics. Man, I lost her email and pics. I am back to square one.

I'm impressed with her because of her Portuguese ability as well. It's a hard language to learn, which is why the 180 million or so in Brasil are so smart. You have to be smart to learn your native language, right?

It's even harder to learn a language that shares 80% of the vocabulary with portuguese.
