Here is the kicker it is not far out like Fazendinha, west of Centro, in Vila Pompeia, tel 3871-4375/3871-1354.
Opening mon to sat at 15:00. Looking at the map, my best guess same time as going from Moema to Centro, 30 min maybe? Anyone can comment on time for Moema to Centro ride?

I did my initial run to Tivoly this evening, Saturday, and give it a thumbs up, subject to further needed "research" on a weeknight.

Like some of the other Sao Paulo clubs, this one is substantially more spacious than your typical Rio terma. As you enter there is a room with a bar on the right side, and some couches on the left. Straight ahead is the pool room, in two senses of the word. A pool table (can't go wrong watching a beautiful garota in a skimpy bathing suit playing pool ) followed by a small swimming pool (with some tables around it) and a food counter in the back. Go a little further and there are some showers and a sauna, but both were not being used today and I have no idea whether they are on busier days (i.e., non-weekends). Towards the left side of the place is an entrance to the cabines, of which there seem to be quite alot. The cabines have double beds, televisions, and attached bathrooms with showers. Better than a 40-minute cabine at a Rio terma and some of the 60-minute so-called suites in rio; not quite as good as the cabines at Connection (no whirlpool, unlike Connection) in Sao Paulo or the 60-minute suites at Solarium, for example.

Now to the garotas. When I arrived at about 8:45 p.m., there were only about 10 garotas and only one other man. I don't know why this has to happen, , but the hottest garota, who I would have taken in a minute, was with the man. Nonetheless, there were some other intermediate hot garotas (intermixed with some mediocre ones) and they did start streaming in. Maybe at 9:15 I chose Rafaela, a 22 year-old mulatta with a hot body. With no problem she agreed to both anal and photographs. In fact, looking at the Brazilian board, where Tivoly is highly rated, it would appear all the girls at this terma, with extremely few exceptions, do anal, as well as BBBJ.

The session was very fine. The only thing I didn't particularly like was when Rafaela asked me for a whisky and energy drink, costing R$45. Since I had my trusty compact video camera with me (along with my regular digital camera), I agreed contingent on her allowing video as well as photographs. The deal was done and I got some very hot video and photographs (which she asked me not to post on the internet).

I might add either Rafaela is an extremely competent actress capable of outdoing the best actresses in Hollywood, or she came more intensely than just about any other working girl I have been with. Fortunately, after the first go around, her eyeballs lowered and returned to their normal position so that I could again see more than just the whites of her eyes.

In general, the garotas varied both in overall looks, and type. A mixture of white garotas, mulattas, and a couple of black garotas. None had weight problems, although perhaps 20 percent could afford to lose four or five pounds. Most were in skimpy bathing suits or equivalently revealing outfits. I would say there were at least four or five very good looking garotas, maybe 10-15 doable but nothing to get excited about, and a few I would not be much interested in, but with whom I would probably accept a freebie.

When I left around 10:45, there were around 25 garotas on premises and maybe five or six men. I was told there are about 70 garotas working on a typical weeknight (owing to my Portuguese deficiencies, I am not sure they said this applies every weeknight, or just Tuesday through Thursday.

Consumption charge was R$40, which counts towards drinks and possibly the room if you don't drink, and the garota charge (inclusive of room) is R$170 per hour. Everything can be paid by credit card when you leave. Making the pricing an even better deal is that at least today was churrasco grátis day, and I had some damn good barbecued beef for free. Other days have other things apparently.

Those of you who have been following my threads know I have covered alot of ground in Sao Paulo. What is so amazing about this place is one never runs out of new places to explore. Subject to my evaluation on another visit, Tivoly, which is relatively conveniently located, is IMHO as good as most of the Rio termas, yet contrary to the myth that Sao Paulo is more expensive than Rio, is actually a bit cheaper than most termas, at least for an hour session. OTOH, virtually no English is spoken here, so I would think you need at least some rudimentary Portuguese to get by. But you don't need alot.

I can't answer Athos's question about how long it would take to get there from Moema, but can say how I got there. I took the Green Line Metro to Vila Madalena, about a five or six minute ride from Consolacao (which is the stop on Avenida Paulista near Rua Augusta), walked half a block to Avenida Pompeia, made a right onto Pompeia, and then walked maybe 15-20 blocks (a mistake). The problem is after maybe six or seven blocks I was facing a San Francisco style hill. Alternatively, there are buses that run up and down Pompeia (I took one on the way back to Metro Madalena, and it took all of maybe six or seven minutes) and these will drop you off within a block of the club. I suspect there are buses from the centro area that do likewise.

Have you thought about trying Beach Club by Congonhas, it closes at mignight on mon so might be a good day opp on that day.

Did you manage to carry your camcorder in your pocket, most cams would not fit?

Do the beds squeak as badly as they do at Connection?

I wasn't expecting much since it was Saturday; although I know weekends generally are not the best times to go to clubs in Sao Paulo, I often find I have time on weekends that I don't always have on other nights.

As to the camcorder, I had it in a knapsack along with my Canon digital elph camera, there is no metal detector at Tivoly and they didn't question my bringing in the knapsack (although once in, a couple of garotas suggested to me maybe I would prefer to have them keep it at the front desk; I told them I wanted it with me). I similarly was able to take in my knapsack at Connection recently, although they similarly asked me whether I wanted them to keep it at the front desk. The camcorder is small though, a Sony PC-350, which comes close to fitting in a pocket although not quite (unless it is a real big pocket).

My next new club will likely be TERMAS EU E ELAS, which appears to be accessible from a metro stop. I've heard of Beach Club, but don't know much about it; it hasn't gotten much coverage on gpguia. I haven't heard much about Musas, New Plaza, or Danrry although I'll check gpguia for info. Do you have any additional information about these clubs that would suggest they are worth visiting?

Unfortunately not, these clubs may have potential for day time session. Maybe best is to call them and ask how many garotas would be there at certain time then subtract 40% from number of garotas you can expect.

Athos, Funny you should ask about the lights. Not only did she let me keep all the lights on, but I had an add-on light on my camcorder. I was a little worried I might burn the garotas eyeballs out with some of my close up work, but assumed she would tell me if her retina began disintegrating. Actually, one cool thing about the Sony camcorders is you can record in total darkness assuming you don't mind a green cast. Much better though to have good lighting as I did.

You know, I don't think I tested whether there was a no-kiss rule. I often do, but for some reason don't think I did this time. OTOH, it may be I just don't remember since I may have been distracted by her hand work while we were at the bar. Also, while it sometimes is helpful to get a sense of how well the garota kisses, it appears at Tivoly it is unnecessary to kiss to find out whether they are willing to do so. I base this on the following Tipoly garota statistics taken from gpguia:

Anal: Yes, 34; No, 3

When I see statistics like these, the pre-session interview becomes a lot easier. Of course these stats are not "scientifically valid," but at least probably gives a rough indication the Tipoly garotas tend to be fairly liberal.

I went back to Tipoly this Monday, and can't say I was very impressed this time. I arrived at about 9 p.m. and left around 11 p.m. There were perhaps 30 garotas and maybe 10 men during this period.

All in all, the selection was a bit worse than Saturday, and while Tuesdays-Thursdays usually are the best days in Sao Paulo, I was expecting to see something better tonight--a weeknight-- than I did last Saturday. A few of the lookers from Saturday were not present, including the one I sessioned with, and a few more uglies were in the mix. I would say there were only three or four garotas who I considered as prospects, and a couple of these while attractive struck me as possibly too hardened.

I ended up with Sabrina, who simply was not the enthusiastic garota I have come to treasure and expect in Brazil. Unbelievably, after about 30 seconds she was asking me to come; I asked myself whether I had done a time-warp and was back in TJ, while at the same time telling her I was going to take my sweet time. She did grudgingly do a rather ineffective BBBJ, and allowed anal, again somewhat grudgingly. She seemed to go back on forth as to whether DFK was allowed. I did end up coming twice, although had to debate whether to hold back for something better the second time.

On the photo side, she allowed pictures without her face. Overall, a B- performance at best (anything less than an A- in Brazil is unacceptable in my book) although her body was attractive (her face was also reasonably attractive but not her best feature).

I should add this was another of those "why didn't I follow my instincts," sessions, something that at least has become rarer with experience. The problem is I spotted Sabrina on Saturday occupied with someone else, and after briefly speaking with her on my way out decided I wanted a session with her on my next visit. During the interview tonight I had some reservations, but given my previous mindset decided against my better judgment to go with her. At least Tivoly's isn't that expensive so there was not that much damage.

I am undecided as to whether I will go to Tivoly again. Maybe, but probably not for awhile.

As a last note, I did on Athos's behalf try to observe the behavior in the bar area for DFK. Based on what I saw, it is quite possible it is not allowed. I saw alot of groping, hugging, and cheek and neck pecking, but couldn't hone in on any bona fide tongue action, or even lip pecking. I didn't get around to actually asking anyone the question about whether there is a ban on DFKing in public areas at this bar, nor did I test the question directly, but there may well be such a rule against it.

Yesterday, I visited Trivoly with Cavegary, and while I have gone back and forth on this place (see above) based on this prime-time visit (Thursday from around 10 p.m. to maybe 1:30 a.m.) I now will give it a solid thumbs up. It was much livelier than during my other non- prime-time visits (I'm defining prime time as Tuesdays through Thursdays from around 9 p.m. to 2 a.m.) and reminded me a bit of Quatro e Quatro in Rio. A fair number of hotties (still among some who weren't) and some fine out-of-session entertainment: there were sometimes as many as three or four garotas dancing on stage, often stripping. Also, and this is a new one for me at this type of place (a terma-like club with rooms on premises), there was a live male-female sex show, with the most acrobatic performance I have seen for this sort of thing; in one of the positions the guy was nearly standing on his head while fucking.

Generally, the garotas here are very liberal, but with a few exceptions, so make sure you do a good interview. Virtually none speak English so bone up on your Portuguese if you are going to visit. Not quite as upscale as Cafe Millenium or Connection, but in this regard is probably like Quatro e Quatro is to the other upscale termas in Rio.

I visited this club on Wednesday this week. I got there early and was struck immediately by two things, how friendly the manager was (he spoke english okay) and the amount of women there. I saw four right away that made my possible list. I also was shocked at how ugly some of the women were there and was suprised they even let them in. I can´t imagine anyone wanting the session with them. The manager gave me a tour of the house and explained how everything worked and costs (I didn´t think it was polite to tell him I already knew this information, research is my middle name), and he always checked up on me to see how I was doing, even when the place got packed around 10pm. He told me there would be around 65 garotas at 10pm, I certainly think there were. The thing that was odd about this place was that I thought the quality would improve as the night went on (when more garotas showed up). Since there were several good looking ones early, I thought the stunners would show up, but really there was just more of the same. I had a session with a little blonde spinner by the name of Monica. She was 19 and spoke a little english she learned from school. She is one hell of a kisser, but only in the back rooms. She was wearing a little school girl outfit that was hot. She told me they get fined 100R for kissing in the bar area. She was really sweet, however no bbbj (which I thought she said she did) and no anal (again which I thought I had negotiated). A good session nevertheless. Another session later has me thinking that this place has cbj as the norm. Transportation to the hotel mercure jardins is cheap by taxi at night = 15R. An additional note: there was one garota in particular I wanted to try out. Her name was Tiffany and I swear she looked exactly like the actress Marissa Tomei in the face and had a smoking body. I met her early and she tried to rush me to the back room (a definite warning sign in my book). She was a popular girl and does a great striptease.

Odd about the CBJ. This is not the norm there. I probably have had sessions with 10 garotas at Tivoly and only one took out the cover. Most of the others not only did BBBJ, but anal as well. OTOH, I know of a recent instance where a friend was ready to go with a blonde spinner there but didn't when she said she would only do CBJ; I suspect it may have been Monica.

I agree there is quite a mixture of lookers and uglies at this club.

To clarify the post above, I was only talking about CBJ's. All the garotas use a condom for sex, at least as far as I know.

One other thing: Last time I was at Tivoly they were trying to figure out whether I had taken a taxi there. It seems they may add something to the cover charge, or maybe even the sessions, if they determine you used a taxi. I don't have the specifics on this; if anyone else does let me know. Incidentally, I usually take the bus there, or have the taxi drop me off about a block away; on the last visit the taxi dropped me off across the street, which may have led to the confusion.

It would only make sense for them to add a taxi charge, if the taxista came in looking for his cut. I don't see how they can pad the bill -- for nothing. But, I know, this is Brasil.

What makes me think they were going to pad the bill is after I spoke with them at length, the manager told the person behind the counter to charge me the normal rate of R$40 for entry (and minimum consumption). I don't know what it would have been had they decided I arrived in a taxi. I also don't know if there is just a bump in the minimum consumption charge if you arrive in a taxi (no problem because if you have a session it wouldn't matter since the session charge counts against the minimum consumption charge), or an increase in the actual prices they charge you.

Can someone clarify the location of Tivoly and closeness to Paulista? Looking at terra mapa, pompeia looks very far but maybe app pointed me the the wrong location. Thanks

Avenida Pompeia is one block from the Vila Madalena metro station. The Vila Madalena station is about four metro stops from Metro Consolacao, which is the station at Paulista and Rua Augusta. Getting to Vila Madalena from the Consolacao metro station takes less than 10 minutes; add a five-minute taxi or bus ride from the Vila Madalena station to Tivoly. More detailed directions are in my 1/22/05 post above. Incidentally, were you looking for AVENIDA Pompeia (if not, maybe the app sent you somewhere else)?

For the hell of it I just checked www.gpguia.net's list of the garotas that work at Tivoly. Of about 35 that had information on whether they did BBBJs, most did with only six doing CBJs (yes, Monica was one of the CBJ garotas). Similarly only about six did not do anal (Monica was one of them as well) although another six did not have any information listed one way or the other on this variable. My previous on-site research revealed, however, that at least one of these latter six will do anal if coaxed, hehe.

My taxi dropped me off across the street from Tivoly, not directly in front of it. I did not see an additional charge on my bill. Thanks for all the info you have posted here too, it was invaluable.

I have visited this club 3 times this year: once in May and twice the 1st week of September. I have always enjoyed each visit and in my opinion there was a wide selection of ladies to appeal to everyone’s taste.

I hate the negotiation process that you go through at most nightclubs. The last thing I hate is wasting time and expectations because of disagreements in price. In my experience pricing disagreements result in the lady taking out her displeasure in service or hustling you some other way. At Tivoly and Connection the fixed pricing system really appeals to my comfort level with the whole set-up and the economics are very reasonable as compared to other establishments. Tivoly is very convenient from the Jardins and I would have visited Connection more if the location was closer.

On my first visit in May I went with LAGuy and CaveGary on a Saturday night. From what I understand this night is notoriously slow but I thought the selection was fairly good. Eventually, I selected or was selected by a fairly attractive lady mid-twenties with nice fake hooters and body. The session was good with BBBJ and lots of kissing. However, being that I traveled the night before with little sleep and an afternoon session with Carol at the Al Jau prive, I felt very tired. Even though I enjoyed the session I felt like I was just going through the motions and could not wait to crash back at the hotel.

Also, one side note as we were paying our bills the manager let us have a drink of our choice on the house, which I thought was very cool!!

In September I returned to this club on consecutive nights 9/7 & 9/8 with another monger. We sat near the front door in the first circle of couches and surveyed the talent. 9/7 was a holiday in Brazil and the selection was okay but not as good as my May visit. Still there was enough talent for me to choose from but my monger friend was very picky on looks.

What amazed me is the memory of some of these girls. I had a few stop by to say hi and say they remembered me, CaveGary, and LAGuy from when we sat at the bar back in May on a Saturday night. Amazing!! Then I notice my monger friend waving someone over as I looked over to my surprise it was the girl I was with from May. Apparently, she saw me sitting with him so she grabs one of her friends and brings her over. She pawns her friend off on him and sits down and starts passionately kissing me and warming me up for another cabine run. He didn’t like her friend and sent her away. So I had my girl tracking down girls he pointed out to bring over.

As time passed I knew this was going to cost me and eventually my girl hit me up for a drink (Red Bull & Whiskey). At this point it was time to visit the quarto with my girl and limit the drinks to one. The session was as good as before and this time I got pics. My girl wanted me to come back the next day to do anal but I had another agenda in mind. I wanted to memorialize our next encounter so that I could view it on those lonely nights back in the states. She agreed without hesitation and the next night was fantastic in the cabine.

My monger friend did find a real hot girl, very short with big hooters, but he preferred take-out back to the hotel for an all night session. Since we left after 1am from the club he was able to negotiate either a 2 or 3 program charge to take the girl back to the Mercure. The next night he had this girl and her lover come back to the hotel for a threesome. We all left about midnight from the club and he bought 3 programs a piece to check them out of the club. Back at the Mercure I checked-in one of the girls for him.

The only problem that I had with Trivoly on this trip was the settling of the bill. The first night there was a bogus 50R charge that I had them take off my bill and the second night they tried to charge me for 3 of my friends programs plus a gin and tonic. I let the manager and the front desk people know of my displeasure and eventually all charges were corrected on my bill. The 1st night totaled 255R and the second night was 203R. In November I will probably return to Tivoly but will scrutinize the bill very carefully.
