This place is located in Recreio (right next to Barra). Upon entering the establishment, you are greeted by a bunch of signs that state you can’t bring in guns, etc. Thought it was amusing as it was the first time I remember seeing it. Good luck putting up that sign in 4x4 or 65.

First of all the place is huge, much bigger than any other terma I have seen in Rio, with four floors that are each very large. On the ground floor is a bar with a stage and booths, on the second floor is a larger bar and booths, on the third floor are the rooms, and on the fourth floor are two huge suites and another bar, along with an outdoor deck with chairs and a pool.

From Monday through Thursday, this is a regular terma, but doesn’t open until 6pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, this place has swingers night (on Friday they have sex services with house girls available also, but only in the ground floor bar, the second floor bar is only for couples and you cannot take a house girl to the couples section). Saturdays are only for couples.

The rules for swingers night are you have to bring a girl (gringos with gdps were encouraged by the manager, and she told me that if I didn’t have someone to bring, she would set me up with one of her "program" friends who didn't work there) and the price is 50 reais per couple and the program runs from 10 or 11 at night (she said 11pm start time, but looking at the brochure, it says 10, not sure which is right) and ends at 4 or 5 in the morning, depending on the business. I might go here on a Saturday and if I do I will definitely post the results. If you are into this type of thing, it is supposed to be the best place in the area to do it. The manager informed me that last Saturday they had over 120 couples there and she showed me the suites, which are large enough for 5 or 6 couples with huge beds, three times the size of normal king sized beds, and whirlpools large enough for 8 or 10 people.

As for the terma part, the girls are average, the prices are on par with solarium/mc and the facilities are right below those of Centaurus. The manager said 50-70 girls work there (I counted less but was there very early). That being said, this place is far out, probably a 60 or 70 reais cab ride and 45 minutes from Copacabana without traffic, in my opinion really only worth it if you are really into swinging (or if you are staying in Barra). Otherwise there are much better options closer to where most people stay.

Also on their website it looks like tuesdays are topless night. sounds great to me. I hope it doesn't mean all the men are topless though.

I suspect that this is the Termas that used to be called Pigalle. The location, description and Swingers night seem very similar as well as the Pigalle/Paris connection.

Does it have an Eiffel Tower sign on the front?

I can't remember exactly, but I remember someone saying it was another terma and just changed names so it probably is.

This place can be barely be called a termas. It reminds me of low-life Texas stripclub where a fight is ready to break out any minute. Everyone seems to be drunk there, including the girls. To say it is a "locals" place would be understatement.

Entrance is 20R. Granted the place is huge, but full of brasilian guys and some pretty nasty looking garotas. I did not even feel comfortable in the place, and I explored some pretty divey places in my time. I generally get along with a lot of brasilieros, but the ones I met here were fairly low-class.

Also, it is located in Recreio which is very far out. I give the place a thumbs down and I would never go back.....unless (someone posts a hottie there, then I am there).
