Apartments Away from "Monger Central" ?

I'm coming back to Rio in Oct for my third trip and would like to stay somewhere besides the monger zone, i.e. Copa and Ipanema, this time. Botafogo or Gloria area is sort of what I have in mind, close enough to the beach, but not in the thick of things 24/7. Would really like a serviced apartment, or aparthotel type lodging that's $70 US or less. Any one know of websites, or other sources to look into? Any tips would be appreciated
