Located right behind the hotel Braston in Concelecao. It's located along with Cocktail, something "Gao", and another smaller club. The outside appearance of Kilt looks like a castle.

There were about 70 women on the Friday night we visited. 10% were doable, but there were no solid 9s or 10s. Constant topless/go-go show going and the house was packed with mongers.

The first night we visited was our bar hopping night so we didn't pick up anyone from here. When I came back on the next night, Sat. night, it was slow, but I still managed to pick one. She was really sweet, wanted 200R, and left at 2pm. I couldn't recall her name. Pardon me, but this whole trip, I was so bad with names.

Entrance fee is about 15 Reals (now about US$5. The girls range from about a 5 to 9, with the majority in the 7 to 8 range. Some dance on stage, most walk around and will try to get you to talk with them. Some are dressed in bikinis, others in more traditional clothes. As soon as you begin to speak with them, they will want you to buy them a drink. (Getting a guy to buy them the drink is the only way they can get out of the club for the evening.) Be careful, as soon as you buy them a drink, their friends will come over to get you to buy them a drink as well.

Generally I chat with the girl for about 30 minutes (I don\'t speak Portuguese, so I bring a phrase book along). Then, assuming I like her, I offer to bring her back to my hotel for an overnight. If I have any difficulty, I usually get the manager to help me negotiate with the girl. They are amazingly helpful, and we have always worked it out. General cost is about $100 to $150 for an overnight (they will want US Dollars). Going back to the hotel, they are terrific partners (taking a shower together, then as much sex as you want for several hours). In my opinion, one of the best values around.

I got a lady to leave Kilt with me in July for $R150. I got the idea while there that was the going rate. Of course, I got there about 1 AM.

You just may be paying too much.

The typical price in SP is usually 150R to 200R. I doubt locals pay in US currency. Except for overpriced places like Cafe Photo and others.

Kilt is okay. first time i went, two fuckable girls. both did rotations at vagao and donna cafe, so fairly pro. still really hot i thought, and began to think kilt was pretty nice.

second time, both hotties gone, now filled with skanks. saw one decent looking girl, but immediately realized she had just sniffed cocaine. even the other girls were whispering about how high the girl was.

there are usually 1-2 fuckable girls here...probably very pro...

lots of asians at this place, mostly asian brazilian clients...along with american tourists. few brazilians in my opinion come here.

overall, worth a quick look, and if you don't see anything decent, you should bail very quickly.

strange thing is seeing street walkers who are very cute right outside. but one questions what they are out there by themselves...maybe drugs, maybe TVs, maybe HIV. decided to stay away, although tempted.

Only one or two? They are all very nice girls, very much a GFE. Give Sao Paulo clubs another try.

You're talking about Vagao Plaza right across Kilt. It's an Asian hangout so many girls work there. They are all free lancers so can move around boates.

I have not heard much about Donna Cafe, I think there are better places to go to in SP. Pricing is same structure as other boates.
You must have hit Kilt area at better time than me. It could be my trip was too close to Carnaval. I did not see more than 200 girls altogether in area, no more than 10 that attracted me.

Kilt – Rua Augusta area - There is a huge number of strip clubs in the Rua Augusta area. Kilt and about 10 other clubs are on Rua Nestor Pestana in a 1 block area, which is a short block from Rua Augusta. There are at something like 40 or 50 strip clubs and/or bars on Rua Augusta for dozen blocks around the Kilt area.

I showed up around 1am last night. It was better than previous trips. There was a pretty good selection of talent and not too many sharks. I'll return on my next trip for sure, although I don't really like the bizzare live sex shows too much.

I have a unconfirmed report that Kilt is now closed. I was going there on Friday night, but the taxi driver informed me that it was closed. He stated that 10 police cars showed up at around 3am and raided the place. They found minor girls there and shut it down. I don´t know if they hit Vargao and Cocktail too. A funny but unimportant thing : they charge you a different price depending if you do sit at a table (45R) or you stay at the bar (35R) for your cover charge. One minor point : the girls are very pushy. During the first 10 minutes I was there, 4 different girls came to 'attack' me.

Went home with a great garota (a 9): Leticia. Started asking 300R, agreed at 250R for 2 hours(200R should be possible, but she was 'hot')(even spook more then basic English)

I went to Kilt last night (Good Friday). Most of the boates were closed. Millenium was open at 9pm which I didn't know. Otherwise would have gone there instead. Kilt still have the same pricing as above. It isn't a good idea to do the girl on site as I found out. For $35R you get a small curtain off 8'x8' with couple of padded seats. No bathroom or shower. Mostly 5-7s last night. Last year I was there and saw one girl that was really nice but sitting with someone. For the quality and price, Connection, Millenium, and Bomboa is better for the price. Not going back anytime soon.

Went to Kilt again on Good Friday. All the casas, privys, and clubs were closed. The entrance fee is $50R for sitting at the bar and $60R for sitting at a table. $10R purse fee. And you have to buy the girl a drink before leaving with her for $50R. Many girls show up after midnight.

Looks like Kilt is a Good Friday tradition for you.

By comparison with other clubs, I thought the selection of garotas at Kilt was above average. R$60 entry fee (covers 2 drinks) for a table and R$30 entry fee (2 drinks) for sitting at the bar. Myself and my buddies from the U.S. took a table and enjoyed 3 different live sex shows on stage, 2 male/female, 1 female/female. They average about 1 an hour.

As far as negotiating a price, I've been determined to low-ball as far as I can go, (mainly because I have been heavily criticized for overpaying). However, this approach didn't work out too well last night. I attempted to get phone numbers from 2 garotas who I would classify as 8s for later meetings. Both agreed, but wouldn't back off from R$500. I argued, in Portuguese, that 500 was too much and both of us knew it. One chick walked away bitching because I was too cheap and the other walked away bitching because I wouldn't buy her a R$45 drink. Ended up leaving empty handed.

My first English-only-speaking friend ended up leaving with a chick, about a 6, for R$250. She started at 500 and after about 30 minutes, agreed to 250 (with my Portuguese translation). Our waiter told us that you had to pay for a R$45 drink for the garotas before leaving, but my buddy didn't get charged.

My second English-only-speaking friend snagged about 5 phone numbers for offsite meetings. On average, they quoted R$400 to start and eventually agreed to R$200. Apparently I'm better at getting my friends laid than I am with myself!

With all of that said, I gave more money to our waiter (Beto) than I did to any chicks. I would suggest requesting him for your table, he keeps the beer bucket full and speaks pretty decent English.

After buddy #1 left, buddy #2 and I walked across the street to My Love (R$15 entry fee includes 1 drink). At 3 AM, the selection was really thin. Approximately 25 chicks, mostly in the 4-5 range......at best. My buddy left with a 5 for R$150........I left with blue ones and a bruised ego. I think we'll stick to Kilt next time.

Does anyone know if Kilt's is oven in Sunday?

I have checked, but cannot see what hours they are open. I checked the web site also, but did not see any times listed either.

I have been there when it has been open on a Sunday. But as best as I can remember there were other times, perhaps longer ago, when it was closed. I don't know whether this is seasonal or what.

On balance, I suspect it would probably be open if you showed up on a Sunday, but this is not for certain. Up the street on Rua Augusta, most, if not all, of the places are open Sunday.

Kilt and My Love on Rua Nestor Pestana are both open on Sunday. However, they have fewer garotas than other nights. Vagao Plaza and Scorpio are closed. Big Ben just down the hill from Kilt on Rua Augusta is also closed on Sundays.

Sunday is very quiet in Sao Paulo and is a good day to make a date with a garota you met earlier in the week in one of the clubs. Like everywhere, they are all looking for side jobs.

Big Ben was open in late January of this year. The past few years it has been very quiet with fewer and fewer garotas. I would not be surprised if it is closed or closes soon. Reminds me of the Ocean Club/Cocktail on Rua Nestor Pestana before it closed a year or so ago.

I really had a total blast here on Thursday and Friday nights. They have a decent squad. Certainly not Scandallo quality but definitely some stuff to pick from. I really cannot remember the pricing. Manager and the staff were all super cool. Place looks identical to my last visit many years ago. I pulled a really good one out of here. I think her bar fine might have been about $R50 but I cannot remember. We did not discuss price until well into the following afternoon. She asked for $R300 and I gave her $R250. I really think that $R200 would have worked. She was totally awesome.

Well, I read that this place was closed down on Thursday for good. A real shame. The City took the land for parking for the adjacent park renovation project. Apparently, the building will be demolished soon. Kilt has been my main spot now that everything else is out of my price range. Gonna have to completely change my game plan for my next trip. They have been open since 1971. Several long term bartenders and some great people worked there.

I checked out the new Kilt on Friday. It's right down the street (Nestor Pestana) from the old club where the old Cocktails club was. It's damn nice inside. The old staff is still there. Plenty of girls. Met a tall, thin Lebanese girl. Paid her bar fine (I want to say $50R) but then I cancelled because I was just too beat. I can't remember the entry or beer prices. I can't even remember what her price was. Will return for sure. I typically stay in Centro so this is perfect for an end of evening spot.

No no no. I actually have been staying at the Hotel Paris. It's a small love motel at the Anhangabau Metro station ($98R). They have recently added hot water The access is perfect and I prefer to do a lot of walking around Centro/Republica/Luz.

I hit Kilt on Saturday night. I was a bit disappointed. There really weren't that many girls, and none that I would do. I can't remember the cover (sorry) but I seem to recall it being less than a year ago, somehow.
