Well guys, I have been in Cartagena for 8 days now and can only say it has been like a monsoon. Probably some outer bands from Rita or other tropical storms but jeeezzz! I mean some of the natiest thunder and lightning, pouring buckets, flooding, electric outages, phone (including cellular) outages, many places closed during the storms.
The good news is there are not many people, tourists or gringos here and the ratios are right up my alley. 2-3:1, many are very hungry and looking for customers.
What to do on a rainy day in Ctg? Snuggle up with a favorita of course. Or, go to a casa and LDV is always a good bet.
I still like this city and am looking forward to an extended visit in MDE early next month.
Many, many beautiful women in this country! Time for more exploring!

Smirk, you are probably right. Even a bad day in CTG is better that a good day at work. I must admit, I am sitting in an IC and there are about (4) 8´s sitting here typing (probably asking their BF´s for money). All are GDP´s I have seen in LDV and Tu Candellas.
Oh well, sunny today. Time to hit the beach and check out the sights (is this kinda similar to the old Camp Granada song??)...he he!

You should have been here last October. It was the worst most natives had ever seen. I waded up the main street of Laguito in water up to my thighs, and I'm 6 feet tall.
I still loved it.
