I am posting this in the restaurants instead of the bars because the focus is food and sporting events, not meeting women. (Av Larco 1207) Two blocks north of Larco Mar is this place. Great food, and prices between $6 and $9 American dollars! Beer between $1.75 and $2.75. 20 television screens and all major sporting events. There is a schedule of the daily televised events and times. Watched my local college team play football Tuesday night and saw the Sox clinch Thursday afternoon. Plus staff speaks good English. Good time when taking a break from the ladies.

RT here.
My, er, girlfriend in Lima didn't want to go with me to the Corner to watch a game, because, as she put it, "Everyone knows that Peruvian women only go there to get picked up by American guys."
I quickly realized that I should only *think*, not say, "Well then, all the more reason to go there."
Seriously, the food is more than passable for bar food, the prices are reasonable, and they have a Miami Hurricanes flag hanging outside the building. I will have to speak with them regarding the Gators' flag.

The Corner is the place to be on week-ends. All the Gringos go there for all the various sports events as they are one of the few that has a worl-wide satellite receiver. Always 4-5 games on at any one time (football/baseball, seasonal). Also, if you like to gamble, they have a back room area that most customers have no idea exists. Here you can bet on almost any event in the world as they are tied in somehow to Las Vegas facilities. Multiple screens for horse racing, car racing, again ANY event you can wager on is found there...
Food is very good and lots of choices for beer.
