A number of the escort sites have "gatos" (male escorts), check them out. There are a lot of gays; although I know nothing about that scene, but it sounds like what you want in #10. If so, check out gay sites (sorry, can't give you any info on them).

where to stay in ipanema ? really depends on your price range.

shopping is good in barra shopping, fashion mall , and rio sul , but all the good stuff can be bought here in the states for 1/2 the price , but there are some good brazillian shops also but they are expensive.
