Catocony - That is correct. I do enjoy the afternoon band and evening band. As for the girls, they start in the $300R/$400R. The rooms are $80R for hour session. I session one out of two visit. When the girl told me $400R, I just walked away and enjoyed the music.

I went to Bomboa a couple of Friday's ago. The pricing is still the same 180R entrance which can be used as consumption for yourself and garotas. 100R is still the charge for a room in the hotel next to the club. They had a free dinner buffet, so all consumption can be used for drinks. The club was quiet at 6 PM when I arrived, but pretty much full when exited around 9 PM.

As I settled into my seat at the bar, a garota approached me and said that she recognized me from Rio. It turns out that I took her out of La Cicciolina on my second trip to Rio almost 5 years ago. She was just starting out in the business at the time. I also did a follow up trip to the racetrack in Rio with her on the same trip that she reminded me of. She has put on some weight and had a boob job in recent years. I asked her how much she gets for a program now and she said 300 - 400R. I told her that I don't pay that kind of money and I used to pay her 150R. She said that was 5 years ago (true). She indicated that she still lives in Rio and was only working in Sao Paulo for a month. She claims she commands that kind of money in Rio now as an escort. I had no interest in her and didn't even try to neg.

I talked to a few other garotas to check prices and they were all asking for 300R. I finally struck up an hour long conversation with a Paulista who lived in Rio for 2 years and worked in 2 termas. Alarm bells went off in my head, knowing that a good session was pretty much guaranteed. I had a couple of beers and pumped 3 or 4 drinks of my 180R comsumption into her. I asked her how much she wanted for a program and she indicated the standard 300R. I offered 200R and she took it right away. I was not disappointed in the hotel room. She put on a terma style performance for the full hour. She also readily gave me her telephone number for follow-up sessions outside the club.

200R really is not that bad. I used to feel great getting girls for $150R back in the day so a $50R hike is not the end of the world. On the other hand, the club prices are too high for me. What are the main clubs in town now? I used to hit Bomboa, Bahamas, Millenium, Connections, Kilt and one or two wild card clubs every trip but I am not even sure where I would start now since it's been so long and so many good clubs have closed. Liberal Club looks promising but just seems to be so far away.

I mostly stick to the Rua Nestor Pestana clubs. They include Kilt, My Love, and Vago Plaza. These are mid-level clubs. I have a number of garotas from these clubs that I set-up outside the club dates with.

The high end clubs that I have been to are Cafe Foto and Bomboa. I believe Bahamas and Millenium are now closed. It is my understanding that Connections and possibly Romanza is still open. A taxi driver that I know offered to take me to Connections on this trip to Sao Paulo.

The prices are high all around at Bomboa and Cafe Foto. At Bomboa, as best I can tell 300R is the sucker price and 200 - 250R is the real price. Although, I'm sure there are garotas there who won't come down off the asking price. Like the one that recognized me from Rio 5 years ago. I pumped 3 or 4 drinks of my 180R consumption into the ex-terma girl and she agreed to go for 200R. If she was sober, I'm not positive that 200R would have worked.

The best strategy here is probably to collect telephone numbers for future sessions outside the club. Like everywhere, most of these garotas are looking for side jobs.

Thanks for the info. Cabs to Connections can be quite expensive. I recommend taking the Metro to the Tatuape station and doing a small cab ride from there. Getting back home late at night is another story.

I was recently in Bomboa on a Friday night. The admission charge is now 200R and goes against consumption. They still have the dinner buffet. The hotel next door now charges 120R up from 100R.

These increases appear to be a case of Brazilian economics. There were only a few guys in the club and many more garotas until around 10 or so when I left for the hotel with a garota. Always many hot garotas in this high end club.

I neg. 250R for the garota and had an excellent session. We ran at least 10 min. over in the hotel and they never even called the room to tell us that our time was up.

Bomboa is an expensive night out, but I usually go one of my nights per trip to Sao Paulo. I like the set-up of the club and there is always a good selection of hot garotas.

I was extremely impressed with the talent - at least 150 garotas in the 7.5+ range. Of course, the prices are killing - I spent R$620 all in, but the garota was awesome.

Here's the new pricing structure: R$200 entry, but that goes 100% towards food and drink. Mon-Fri they have a "free" dinner buffet and it was pretty good - some chicken, some cream corn, rice and beans, bread. Basic stuff, but free. Overall, the food was pretty good, though everything is about double/triple the price at a regular restaurant but at least you get a good return on your entry.

Rooms are R$120. If you want to take a garota off-premises, R$100 is their "entry" for you to pay. They apparently have a GdP Union there, all of the garotas were starting at R$450-500 minimum, and a lot stayed high. They seem to tack on around R$150-200 more for hotel/apartment takeout.

I found two hotties for R$300 and picked one of them, she was awesome. The reviews on gpguia can often inform you of how accurate the pictures are and what services are provided. I would say they are. Taking into account that the entry is for food and drink, for on-premise at Bomboa you're looking at roughly R$420-530 for a session - R$120 for the room, R$300-450 for a garota. That's not cheap. So yeah, you can save R$150 or more by going with a standard escort - those girls are not the top-shelf ones. There's nothing wrong with that move, I use agencies from time to time. But, I like hanging out, watching the show, interviewing girls, grabbing some ass, all that stuff before making a selection.

I like escorts for the middle of the day when nothing much is going on. They can be very economical. But, you never really know what you're going to get. In a club, you get to see how they move, their attitude, how they stack up to the others. You see some girl that just turns you on, and you don't get that from a pic on the website or from the book.

With escorts in your case, you're paying R$250 to get laid in your room/apartment. With termas or clubs, you're paying more, but you're just not getting laid, your getting all the rest of the fun. Both routes are good, sometimes you just want to stay in and have a program. You may not have time to hit a club, you're trying to save some dough, the weather is shitty and you just don't want to go out, or maybe you just want to hang and not deal with the crowds.

Entrance now up to 230R. The quality is still excellent. If you pick a girl, you´re now looking at 660r, mimimum, with 230 entrance, 130 room and 300 girl. Most girls push for 500r and do not bugde.

I hit Bomboa on Friday night. I got there at 7:00. I can't remember the entry fee but I do know that $70R of it did not go toward consumption. The beers were $35R!! They no longer have Bohemia beers, although my receipt still showed them. I've always ordered buckets of Bohemia since 2002 so there's another little unnecessary change to the landscape. Music was good as usual and the buffet was on. There were some remarkably foul ladies working. I found a decent one from Recife. We agreed to $350 pretty quickly. Room charge is $140R. My girl and I slept an extra TWO HOURS after the session and that obviously created some problems. It eventually worked out OK though. Don't oversleep gentlemen. I'll probably try to hit Bomboa every other trip from now on.

Bomboa and Scandallo are probably the best thing that's going on in Sao Paulo...but at a price. All the best looking women go to these establishments but will charge you about $130 USD plus another $70 or so for the room. So now you are $200 USD in.

Thankfully before I left I took phone numbers of the hot ones and mitchc gave me a few more. A great way to avoid the $70.
