There is boate and boate in Sampa.
There are 3 types of pickup places: American Bar, Boate and Restaurant.
Bomboa is an American Bar and that's where you want to go imho. Equivalent of a terma in Rio.
Boates do not have in premise room. Photo and Romanza come to mind.
Restaurants like W and Putzaria. You are welcome to order meal and desserts but typically your dessert will consist of a garota with olhos azul, verde o mel.
So wherever you go try to know which type of boate you are going to.

I remember Sandman mention Amsterdam but it seems like a new place.

Acording to my usual sources, it's a converted mansion near Av. Pualista, very "chic", very expensive (at least for Brazil). Everything top shelf, great rooms, girls, food, booze. The set-up is essentially the same as hot or W, except with rooms onsite, as it is a converted mansion. Very discreet too, you pull up to a garage door, it opens and closes behind you, not suprising considering that the place is 2 blocks off of Av. Paulista (imagine a whorehouse/mansion two blocks off of Wall Street). Prices:

R$30 to get in
R$150 2hours for a room
R$150-R$1000 and up for the girls, negotiable with the girls, all depends on the girls. Lot's of ex-W, and ex-Photo girls.

I would be making my first trip to SP (December, as part of a 1-3 day layover on the way to yet another Rio trip), and I prefer young hotties more in the spinner type than the big round type... yet I like to spend on the lower end of the spectrum (meaning I don't visit Centarius in Rio, nor likely to hit Photo or W I'd guess). Which is the current winner for this description? Bomboa? 2nd choice Millenium or Bahamas?

Bad news SP is more expensive than Rio except for hotels.
You can budget yourself and stick to mid level mps like Antares, Alternativ, Abbobora and Miruna but straight fuck unlike termas. MP will cost you R$100. Expect no more than a 7 in looks.
If you can spend a bit more, Bomboa is a very nice American Bar. American bars have rooms on site, same idea as terma except you don't wear robes. Bomboa min cover with tax is R$100. Add girl and room, you're looking at R$350 min.
Bahamas is even more expensive. Millenium same price as Bomboa. Bit cheaper is Connection which has very good selection but a bit further east.
Bomboa selection is solid, on par with termas.
Good option in SP is escorts R$150 to R$200 but it's hit and miss.
Forget about hardbodies, garotas do not exercise in SP preferring wearing pants. But selection is more varied with girls from all over the country. Also ask for sem camisinha or you might be disappointed.

I don't mind R$200-400... but I don't want to visit a place where the girls (all cost in) start at R$600 and go up to R$5,000! I'm just looking to confirm that Bomboa, Connection/Millenium are still the right spots. Or MPs in day (what about AdvanceVIP?)... or boates.

Still need to research the escorts and the sites that show faces.

Oh, and I don't accept CBJ... why bother if fs is on the bill...

You can get girls at Photo for R$300. W price is fixed at R$600 but girls all come from POA Carmen and Gruta Azul, way overpriced. You may want to try Jardim America then. I did not like Casa Haras.

Sorry I did not make it to Jardim America. It's a new place similar in style to that of W. Restaurant setting with collection of girls. It's right by Bomboa in Pinheiros, no more than 5 min ride. Expect cover in R$100 and girl to cost R$200 to R$300.

Anyone ever visit, or know anything of The Lonestar Bar in Jardins?

I'm looking for a bar to watch NFL (the nationally televised Saturday games in Weed 16). I plan to give O'Malley's a call, but in case they aren't showing them I'm looking for other options.

I could not get game 1 of the world series there. The service was horrible. I will never go back. They were completely indifferent to our pleading for the game. They literally ignored us.

mitchc! correct me if im wrong but isnt the world series an exclusive u.s.a.competition?.no brazilian ,south american interest at all?or any other parts of the world.the only way you can get an brazilian interested in american sports is when they beat an american soccer team in a world cup semi-final or final,if they lose the game never existed.

true, totally true. however, sp is a large city and there are americans that live/travel there. my city is small, but receives many brazilians tourists (yes!). there are places here for them to watch their sports. sp is 10 times larger than my town and i could not even find the world series. it actually was on espn down there, so it was available.

Regardless of size of the city and population(S.P.),overall American population (live or work for long-term) would be surprisingly small, therefore it would be not easy to find US centric entertainment or sports being broadcasted in commercial establishments.

I hit some places in Vila Olympia (it's actually Itaim Bibi according to my map) on Saturday and Sunday nights in late December.

All the action is within walking distance of the corner of R. Faria Lima and Juscelino. There is many places on the right of Juscelino as you go north, and places like Monte Cristo and Swahili are a block east and a block south and another block east.

Swahili had a great scene on Sunday, with a couple of guitar players and pizza rodezio. I arrived about 8p... maybe it's best to arrive earlier at 7p or so? The room with the band was quite crowded, but we had little problem getting a table for pizza and drinks. We hit Monte Cristo about 10p or maybe 11p, and it was jumping.

Yesterday visited a few interesting places here on Rua Augusta. On the 600 block of Rua Augusta near Kilts there are a series of nightclubs full of girls, they have rooms in the facility.

First stop was a place called Night House. LaGuy and Coffeemaker each took a unit upstairs. The cover was R$7 which included two drinks. Cost of a session was R$50 for the unit, R$20 for the room. You pay your W directly, and pay the R$20 to the house when you exit. Anyway--there were about 15 girls in Nighthouse and 3 were very doable, 2 just doable. The rest I would not do with DonGringo's dick. Coffeemaker had already nutted twice earlier in the day--and at his advanced age that is a lot. ANyway, he said this girl at Nighthouse was outstanding and she squeezed out yet another nut. He rated his session as being better than at Connections or at Bubbas (Bomboa) the day prior.

After NightHouse we walked a short block to Balneario Sauna. This is a bar/sauna where you can change into a towel or remain in street clothes. There is a R$10 entry which includes 2 beers. Cost of a session is the same as Nighthouse--R$50 paid to the girl directly and R$20 to the house for the room. There were about 20 girls inside, 4 were doable. Since I still had a relatively full sac I immediately grabbed a mulata unit (most chicks in SP are lighter skinned than in Rio...but I digress). The room at Balneario Sauna had a shower inside. I had a great session. The girl was a 9 in looks, and 10 in attitude. Next trip I plan to stay in a hotel on Rua Augusta.

I don't have a problem buying a bunch of drinks or sharing a bottle of champagne. Just want to be teased and aroused for a couple of hours in the club itself.

CCC - just got back from my 1st trip to SP so not as experienced as other, but as of last week I can say my favorite boite was Millenium, then Connection, then Bomboa. (I never made it to Love Story and the freelancer bars). My experience was that SP girls in the boites I mentioned are a bit more "professional" and stand-offish then Rio termas girls or Help freelancers. You have to really acknowledge them to get them to show interest in you (at least the high quality ones-- the pigs will always try to come onto you). But once you are with them and buying drinks, I never had one rush me to the room a la Tijuana zona norte style. I found the girls in Millenium to be hotter, the place physically nicer, and the wait staff professional and helpful. That's my opinion but others have their favs as well. Do NOT go to a boite called Romanza in Itaim. Place is very high end but a total rip off with ugly girls. Their flyers advertize a pool of famous garotas --playboy girls and actrizes. Total bullshit. Have fun.

Probably the fastest way to get a handle on the options in SP is to read LAGuy's guides and trip reports.

Just select "trip reports" from the menu on your left, then "select a reporter" (LAGuy).

Or you can "select a location" (brazil), and look for the numerous trip reports on SP.

If you're looking for specific information, you can use the "discus search."

If you're looking for information on specific clubs, hotels, agencies, etc, you might find them using the "topics" menu...click "topics" on your left, then "South America," then "Brazil," then "Sao Paulo."

After you've been here awhile you'll get a feel for how to find information.
