Many other locations throughout Peru

Hello. RT here.
Roky's is a chain of chicken and grilled meat restaurants in Peru. There's about 40 or so of them, all offering moderately-priced family fare. Many of them have bars, and some even have kids' play areas. The food is good, fast, and cheap. And there's usually something for everyone.
The Miraflores location has an added bonus. Every day, aside from the regular menu, they offer a Rodizio option.
In a sentence, Rodizio is the never-ending parade of meats, all served to you at your table, sliced right off of the skewer that they were grilled on. Typically, the choices include three or four different steaks, a couple of pork choices, ribs, chicken, sausages, etc. Sizzling hot, and real good. There's also a hot and cold buffet/salad bar, but most people don't fill up on anything but the meat.
Is it as fabulous as Rodizio in Brazil (home fo Rodizio)? Unlikely. But I wasn't in Brazil; I was in Lima.
I wound up taking my girlfriend, two of her friends, and my girlfriend's younger sister to dinner the other night. The girls lived it up, what with the meat and the Pina Coladas and everything. They had never heard of this, so it took a little bit for them to catch on, but once they did, they were off to the races.
The total bill for the five of us (including all taxes and an extra tip) was 200 Soles ($59.35). The Rodizio alone is 25 Soles and 30 on the weekends.
When I went there a couple of months ago, one of the waitresses decided that I was someone famous. She whispered to the hostess, who found someone that could mangle English. That girl asked me if I was in the movies. I didn't want to disappoint her, so I said yes, and lowered my eyes shyly. So if you go, and there's a wait for a table, just tell them that you know me.

RT here. This is the sign advertising the Rodizio at Roky's. Please note that it costs $0.60 (2 Soles) additional on the weekend. I went Sunday, and didn't see any difference that warranted the added price, but it was the weekend, and I decided to live it up anyway.

RT here. I had the opportunity to re-visit Roky's for their rodizio last week.
After five years, nothing but the price has changed (37 soles during the week and 42 on weekends). They still bring out enough meat to kill someone, and they happily keep bringing it. The only real excuse that I have for not going back sooner is the huge amount of other options in Lima.
It's not what I would call a gourmet dining experience, but for less than 14 bucks, it's a recommended stop. I took a date with me, and she said that she only previously dreamed of places like this (she's a big-time meat fan). She didn't come out and say it, but I also suspect that she enjoyed it more than some of the more upscale joints I sometimes drag her to.
