The facilities at this Banos Turcos were very good. Both the steam room and hot rooms were up to snuff, the Jacuzzi was large, clean and bubbly, and they had a large, quiet and dark rest area.

After doing all of the above, I emerged from the rest area, right where the waiting masajistas sat. They were all (about 6 of 'em) in their mid- to late-20s, and wearing some sort of body suit that accentuated their pushed-up breasts. I picked one of them, I think it was because she smiled at me, but didn't act overtly like she was dying to get her hands on me. I appreciated the honesty.

We went upstairs to the massage area, and entered a private room. Although the room had a door that locked, and the walls went all the way to the top, there were air grids on the top 6 inches of the wall, so one could hear the goings on next door.

After a pretty good massage, she asked if I wanted any additional services. When I told her yes, I did, she quoted me 130 Soles. I agreed.

The service was good, and she certainly acted enthused while we were having sex. It was also unrushed. I wouldn't go so far to say I didn't feel like I was paying, but I didn't feel like I was just an assembly line number, either.

The price was 20 Soles to enter the facility; the massage was another 25. Add in the 130 for the girl, and my total cost was 175 Soles (about $54). I believe that the 130 was negotiable, but I didn't bother.

Banos Turkos La Marina is on Avenue La Marina in San Miguel, about a half a mile away from Plaza San Miguel. The immediate area is pretty busy all day and even past the 10 PM closing time, so safety shouldn't be an issue coming and going. As everywhere in Lima, I recommend taking a taxi upon exiting. You usually don't have to wait more than a minute for one, but you can always ask at the front desk for them to get one for you.
