Well the PHX Team decended upon Rio for a bit.
In attandance was the RocketmaninPHX, A-Rod, AZ Catman and Harry.

Mostly our first Trip so guide assistance from Don and Ken at amerioca@hotmail.com was greatly appreciated.

Ran into a bunch of other guys that did not have a guide service and they didn't have Rio mobile phones for communications (Essential), Advice on Service Organizations (Agency, Terma, Clubs, Places to eat, Taxi's that will not rip you off, Places to go or some in Rio to call 24/7 for any assistance.

Not sure of other opinions about using tour services, but I got so much value out of it that I cannot see ever going to Rio without using Don's services.

Additionally being part of Don's community of friends.

So if you have not bought a guide package drop by Alzacar around 4PM anyday and you can hookup with Don and meet some of the community.

I'll do a longer report later but wanted to get down my first thoughts while the memory is fresh in my head (Perhaps a bit lower also). I'll defer to Jaguer for more complete and intertaining stories of Rio.

Key Recommendations: Go with friends, Sign up with Don (make new friends), get a Rio Mobile phone, Carry a small note pad to take phone numbers and give your phone number (see you need a Rio Phone #) and don't take this whole thing too serious

Average Program Cost Approximately $175 each (40 minute, 1hour, 2 hour and overnights)

Still 40% Cheaper than anything in the US.

It really was a long strage trip......

Not sure if I still really believe what happended, but my good friends will always be there to kick my memory if I ever forget.

Got some new friends also: Don, Ken & Roberto, Jaguer, Hemp, and the rest of the bunch in Rio and all of the new travel buddies I met.

Where is that ad for the Portuguese Lessons....
