After a period of simply returning to the same casas I already knew, I tried a new one. I suspect one of the reasons I never checked this place out before is that it is within maybe six blocks of Tivoly (in the direction of the Vila Madelena (sp?) metro station) and I if I'm in the area I tend to just go to Tivoly. In any case, this casa is worth checking out but only if you are not looking for top-shelf accommodations.

When you get to the address you go up a small flight of stairs, ring the bell, and then wait at the door to the right. On entry there is a bar straight ahead and seats on the right and left. The first time I visited there were perhaps five or six garotas who presented themselves (one by one, as is the custom in these casas) of which maybe half were acceptable. On this first visit none were overweight. I picked a reasonably attractive mulatta who said she only worked there for two weeks and had never done anal before, not at the casa or anywhere. She said she wanted to though, which might have reflected her desire to compete with the other garotas at the casa (according to gpguia they all do anal) or maybe she was just playing with me. Supporting the former conclusion that she was a newbie all the way around is that for the first time ever in Brazil, she gave me a "Thai" experience. No, not a massage, but she insisted on turning out the lights during the main event! In any case the session was great and I returned for a second a couple of days later.

When I arrived the second day there were only three garotas available; one was overweight; another mediocre in appearance, and the third the one I had been with earlier, who I chose.

In any event, the place is worth a stop (I should add the guy who runs the place is very friendly as well, something I have found often is reflected in the attitudes of the garotas, either directly, or by influencing which garotas choose to work there). As before, the facilities are not great, although better than your average Rio massage parlor (substantially worse than a terma though). But if you can get past that, it may be worth a stop, either on the way to, or the way back from Tivoly.

Alternatively, given its hours (10 a.m. to midnight or 2 a.m. (not sure) Monday through Saturday, and noon to 10pm or midnight (not sure again) Sunday) it may be worth a stop when most other places are closed.

The price is right at R$55 per half hour and R$75 per hour.
