Very upscale hotel in Jardins area.. I am paying $275 US per night for a 450 sq foot room.. Bed is great as well as bathroom. By using Amex to book it.. I have received 2 free 1 hr massages and continental bfast for 2.. Did not get the upgrade to the suite which wouldve been great. I know its a good amount of money but SP is different than Rio. I tend to spend more time in the apt than in Rio as SP does not have the beach or the termas..

I take it that the hotel is guest friendly? I know right where that street is, BTW, I had to do some shopping during my last trip to SP.

I have heard it is guest friendly from someone who stayed there. However, the one time I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, I did not bring up any guests.

I registered my favorita who stayed with me the whole time (sorry i can not answer the question). Whilst i was sitting in the bar lounge I was solicited by two women on different nights. They were of the classy type so I think mgmt looks the other way. LB
