Hi guys, i was wondering if u could help me out in this. Iam scoping out some apartments i Rio, and i cant decide wether to rent one in Ipanema or Copa... can anyone point out the pros and cons of the locations, nightlife, safety, distance???

You really need to read the threads. You have asked a bunch of questions the past few days, which is normal for new guys. But, every question you've asked has been covered extensively in the various Brasil topics. Look through the threads discussing first-time visits to Brasil, where to stay, etc. The short answer is to stay in Copacabana, close to Help. For the details, spend a minute using the Search feature or just open up the links to the hundreds of Brasil discuss threads.

Read BWana Dik's Guide from start to finish, then ask the questions. Guys here are pretty charitable with information sharing, but you're asking questions that have been asked and answered many times.
