The water is too poluted for shrimp to grow so they import farmed shrimp hence the higher cost.

I first noticed the HIGH cost of shrimp in '93 on my first trip. Outrageous prices for shrimp coctails.

I stick to the beef. But then again at Marius on the seafood side, shrimp is still a good deal.
