If you cant live it, why not read it? If you like program girls and the scene in Rio - give author Garcia Roza's police novels a try. They are very fast reads (200 pages or so in english). I would recommend his first two books, Silence of the Rain and December Heat - both have plenty of references to programmas. Does anyone know of any other good novels based in Rio written in English?
