Need a little help here. My girlfriend has agreed to travel with me to Rio/Ipanema and enjoy some P4P. The only thing she has asked is that we stay in a nice hotel that is will be safe and has a pool she can hang out. Anyone know of a nice hotel in Ipenema that is guest freindly, safe, and has pool that would safe for her hang out at? Also, does anyone know if Don could arrange for guiding for her to shop while I'm busy plus help me with agency calls? We are thinking of late March or early April next year.

I think you want an apartment. I'm not sure how the hotels would react to threesomes. You'll already be paying for a double, so not sure if you can have a short-term guest in that situation.

As far as Don guiding her to shop, I somehow don't see that happening! It's safe enough anyways to go to the malls any time they are open, and if you stay in Ipa then there is high-end shopping on Visconde da Paraja'. She can taxi to Rio Sul and Botafogo Praia Shopping if she wants to do malls.

Caesar Park. Safe. Small but nice pool (they are all small unless you leave Copa/Ipanema. She can also hang at the beach across the street from Caesar Park - one of the safest places on the beach in Rio, definetly very safe for your girlfriend. I've brought gdp's there, however, they did not look like gdp's.

PS, why don't you just have her kick it at the beach or pool while you hit a termas around 4PM? Then you don't have to bring any gdp's to your hotel.

Have you ever been to Rio? The reason for asking, it sounds to me like you're looking for two very different things. One, you want a nice hotel and two, you want a place to bring multiple garotas back per day. The Copacabana Palace is out, since they aren't overly guest friendly. As far as Caesar Park, it is very expensive, and that's before any guest fees.

As far as girls, are you planning on using agencies, or pulling them off the beach and restaurants?

If you're planning on beach girls, then Ipa's a bad idea just because of distance. You would be better off at the Marriott or something. Just keep in mind, a gringo who brings his gringa with him but then has a revolving door of putas coming in and out will draw quite a bit of attention.

An apartment would be best for the multiple girls, but of course no pool for your girlfriend. By the way, is she planning on acting as the second in duplas with you and the garotas, is she going to watch, basically why are you bringing her? What's her purpose?

So, if an apartment is out, then get a hotel in Copa and then take your GdPs to love hotels. Howvever, if your gringa is taking part, that gets pricey since the love hotel will charge for the extra person.

Like I said, you're asking to two very different things in Rio. A nice American-style hotel to stay with your girlfriend and a place to bring multiple garotas in per day. All without getting killed with guest fees or raising The Big Eye of whatever hotel you are in.

You might consider an apart-hotel, like the Ipanema Tower Residence. They have a pool, an exercise room, and a breakfast room. All apartments are 2-bedroom, all have internet, and all have daily maid service. It's not a 5-star place, but is very clean and comfortable. It's in a great, safe neighborhood near good restaurants. And...it's guest-friendly.

Thanks for the advice guys. We talked and I misunderstood what she wanted. So now it looks like we are looking for an apt complex that has a pool that is private for her outside. Needs to be in a safe area. My girlfriend will not be participating with me but I do plan on P4P at least three times per day. So I will probably use agency girls during the day and head to a therma late in the afternoon. The reason I am taking my girlfriend is because we are an open couple and don't have to hide what we do from each other. I figure about 6 hours a day ought to do it for P4P that leaves about 9 hours I will want to spend with her not someone else. I'm not looking for the "girlfriend experience" I already have one. We traveled to BKK Nana area for two weeks and all went well. Frankly the spinners there are to small for me and had a hard time taking me. I just want "completa" down and dirty without a lot of wasted time or problems. Brazil seems ideal to us. Ipenema seems safter than Copa and I can catch a taxi to the thremas. So now we are looking for a 2 bedroom (incase we both want to play) apt with a nice pool outside for her and good security in Ipanema. Anyone know if couples are welcome in Help? We NEVER had a problem in the Nana or Patpong gogo bars. The ladies loved her as a matter of fact. Any help would be greatly appreciated. And yes this is our first trip to Brazil.

What do you mean a pool that is private for her outside? For her use only? Doesn't exist here except for Star-loads of money. If you are just talking about a pool that is private to the building, no problem.

If safety is the consideration, she'd certainly be safe at the pool at the Ipanema Tower. It's upstairs, and can't be gotten to without passing security. If it's privacy she wants, SF is right; you'll need to fork out serious money for an apartment with a private pool.

Keep in mind that most all pools are roof-top pools-and they are very small, more like large US hot-tubs. Also keep in mind your Gal will have no safety issues at the beach if she hangs out at Posto 9 in Ipanema during the day-once she gets there, she will want to go to the beach instead of sit by the pool. If she gets real tan and wears a bikini or a thong, no one will recognize her for an American unless she wears something with english writing on it.

The pool at Ipanema Towers is US-style - it's fairly large. However, while they are guest-friendly, I'm not sure about multiple guests at a time. Also, since Dino's army invaded over Thanksgiving, are we sure that Ipa Tower is still guest friendly? I anticipated Ipa Tower going the way of Country Residence
