This hotel is a few blocks from the Kenendy Park/Parque Central/Pizza Alley area (about a 5-10 minute walk; a 2 minute cab ride).
I stayed there for two nights last week. The rate for one of their suites was 140 Soles (130 for cash). Regular rooms were available for 80 Soles. The room was spacious, but had a little musty smell (I burned incense, and that took care if it). The bathroom had plenty of pressure and hot water, and there was a large jacuzzi in the corner of the bedroom.
The room also had a refrigerator and a medium sized TV. The bed was a queen.
My first night, I got back to the hotel at about two in the morning. I asked at the front desk if they had any food available, and they told me that they could have a sandwich up in 15 minutes. When the 60-year-old bellhop brought the food up, he asked me of I wanted him to get me an 'amigita', so I guess chica-friendly is an understatement.
I confirmed this the next night, when I brought someone back to the hotel. There was no ID check, but they called up to the room to make sure that it was OK to let her leave the building.
There were two down sides to the place: First, the rooms were NOT air conditioned (most of the time, this isn't an issue) and second thing is their pay-in-advance policy. I tried to give them a credit card in front and said I would pay on check-out, but no, I needed to pay in advance each day. A hassle, but not a deal breaker.
There was no internet connection available, but there are a couple of internet stores within walking distance.
I would stay there again.
