Have been debating where to go in the beginning of April. Thought about cuba but frankly not worth the risk for the quality of women. Now if there where hot brazilian type or colombian type strandeded on that island more than one of us would be swimming over there to get some action. Was comtimplating Colombia again. Fares are very well priced right now, but i'll have to hit that up later in the year. Therefore, I decided Rio. My first trip was last year in July and unfortunately it was the first city out of my 4 leg southamerican banging tour. It was all that i expected and i was sad to leave. Booked the new flight on Travelocity's fare finder. Very good 520 tax included from Miami. Had to pay a 24 dol Fedex next day ticket fee but oh well. Using gring managment again. Heard mixed opinions about it but i was happy with my enconter. Will post a report when i return.

Back this morning 6am out of travelocity. Did Avianca airlines. Yours is out if Miami as well?

$520 sounds good, but isn't that a triple hop on Avianca? Miami-Bogata-Sao Paulo-Rio de Janeiro - 13-15 hours of travel each way, vs 8 on the direct non-stops from Miami. Plus, the Avianca flights get into Rio in the morning and leave for the return - which means you're burning a night in Rio to make a very early flight out of GIG.
