Anybody knows of any termas in Recife

I'm new here so I need some help please. I will be going to Flortaleza this August of 2008. I heard that the "action" has left. Someone told me they forced out the Mafia controlling the girls. Has anyone been there lately? I mean in the last six months? If so, where are the places to go to find some women. I keep hearing about a Mcdonald's near a famous high rise hotel. How does Fortaleza compare with say Rio. Any other info would help, thanks.

Fortaleza is about a fourth the size of Rio. More laid back, slower pace, mostly a beach town, nightlife does not compare to Rio. Cant say about the p4p, as havent been there since 2002.

Going to Recife and Natal in late April (4/19-4/25). The posts here appear to be a little dated. Can anyone provide any updated information for mongering Recifre?

The info posted is still valid , go to bamboo early around 10 then hit Sampa after 12.
Going rates haven't changed 100R at Bamboo and maybe 150/200R at Sampa for something a little more up scale. Also watch your bill in Sampa they have a habit of padding it.
