I contacted Cartagena Kenny thru ClubHombre and just returned after a week at his super pad. The views are spectacular from every window, and his attentiveness to your needs is incredible. If you want, he helps every step you take every minute of the day from negotiating girls to bargaining souvenirs on the beach. Location of the pad is minutes from La Dolce Vita and the beach. If you went to LDV every day of your life it would be heaven but also it needs be said, general quality of partying in the old city (a short cab ride) is worth the trip in itself.

This 3 bedroom apt where kenny resides is perfect. Walking distance to La Dolce Vita and the beach, small store and restaurants at the front door to the building, even fast food accross the street. The apt has a full kitchen stocked with drinks etc to start you off on arrival. This deal is amazing, he (kenny) has been promoting it in conjunction with a pad in Medillin only 2 months so his drive for success is overwhelming almost. You posted the same information regarding your stay with Kenny in multiple threads all in the same night. This fits the profile of someone spamming their info on the site to promote their own business. It would not have drawn such ire were it posted ONCE here instead of in many threads.

Did you know you can click on someone elses name (when highlighted in blue and underlined) right above their posts to see what they've "contributed" to the site? It will list the number of posts in chat as well as on this discus board. Had you done that for Smitty you would have found:

Now, I am not here trying to flame - only to educate and enlighten. Your enthusiasm is welcome and appreciated. However, before tearing into someone on the board you should see what exactly they have contributed before you start throwing insults. We'd like to at least maintain the ILLUSION that we're fairly nice to each other most of the time.

I can understand why both reacted as they did:

R65 had just returned from his trip and was writing his first posts on this board when he was suddenly accused of being a SPAMmer. Me, if I'd just started contributing to a particular community and had someone try to call me out I'd probably tell them to fuck off too.

Smitty pops onto the CH site, sees a guy with fewer posts then fingers posting repeatedly about a place to stay. He, naturally, figured (as did any number of others) the new guy was trying to pimp his (or his friend's) business. I understand his reaction and posts.

Now is R65s opportunity to post a TR and show us all how he is a valid, contributing member of the board. His enthusiasm doesn't need to be subdued so much as tempered. He'll get the hang of it soon enough.

I seem to remember a guy that came on strong last year on his first few posts, even being accused of shilling. While he's stepped on a few toes he's probably met more Asia vets then anyone else on this board. Anyone know who I'm talking about?
