Beaker- Just got back from 10 days in MDE. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best option for getting quality chicas. Call Juan at 311-309-3960. Dial *24 before that (from MDE), as it's a cell phone. He does not speak English but has some pretty nice girls, semi-pros and high-end model types. I used him exclusively and was not disatisfied. Be advised, however, that prices are high for higher quality. I believe most on this board would not utilize his services, and that was fine with me. I did not go to pinch pennies in a country reputed to have the hottest women on the planet.

Incidently, I hit all the strip clubs, MPs and the street scene and was absolutely repulsed by the lack of high-end talent, compared to Rio, SP and even TJ. I did girls in FD, Loutron, and 2 of the casas but I did not find them much hotter than the higher-tier TJ AB/CC hotties. Also checked-out the much touted street scene and will only advise you to think about this: Do you really want to be with a girl who stands on a corner and accepts $6.00 to fuck you? And what do you think her life is like? (in terms of her health, cleaning habits, looks, personality, drug habits, mentality, etc. etc.).

Outside the monger scene, I saw incredibly hot chicas- probably the prettiest I've ever seen in the world, bar none. But you won't find them working in the clubs. Most were pigs and a few doable. Quite a contrast, and as I was ready to pull the trigger numerous times, I kept asking myself "Did I fly down her to be with a girl like this?" Answer was always "No." That's why I just stopped and started using Juan exclusively. Very happy with him.

That being said- I would make whatever connection you can and go for the highest quality possible. In the end I had the best sessions ever with the hottest chica I've ever had, so MDE gets a "thumbs up" for quality. But it is no true mongering destination and I'd recommend Rio as better in almost every catagory for the everage monger.

Did prepagos with a couple of buddies. Of the three girls ordered from their awesome pictures on the web. The first that came was ugly and buddy 1 said no way. Paid her taxi money to go home. The girls were the same one from the pictures,but holy Dr.Jekyll/Mr. Hyde as far as the photo versus reality. The one I had was'nt too far off from the picture and was incredibly friendly though.

Prepagos in Medellin are normally word of mouth from one friend to another, or you can be introduced to a friend of a friend who has a lot of prepago numbers.

In fact I wouldn't even call girls with photos on the web prepagos, if they are calling them that it is probably just a marketing ploy.

Well, from my limited experience (and that of some friends). Some real gems have been discovered through these agencies. Maybe you have to go through a few girls ie send them back, but they are fresher (less mileage)than the girls you would find at the strip clubs, casas and what not.

My buddy called Juan and good news, the number is still working. All kinds of girls available, including TV personalities. However, try to get a colombiano to call on your behalf because he was telling me that once Juan figures out you're foreign, the rates increase.

MEDELLIN, Colombia -- “It used to be only women from a low social class who would charge money for sex, but now they come from all social classes,” says Marco, a nightclub owner in Medellín, talking about the phenomenon of the “prepagos” -- middle-class girls, often models, who work as prostitutes.

“It is no longer stigmatized as something lower class. Before they did it because they didn’t have work, now many young girls do it simply because they want pocket money to spend on discos, designer clothes, plastic surgery, etc.”
“When a woman is beautiful they often fall into this life. We are acquiring this culture which worries me -- like in Cuba and Rio de Janeiro.”

The increase in prostituion has really taken off in the last few years. The University of Eafit, one of the top universities in the city, has become known for it.

“Young women students have always looked for rich men, obviously, but they didn’t charge money. Then the next day they would start crying, saying. “I don’t have enough for university”, etc. Or they would say, “Give me a present,” such a watch, clothes, a ticket to Cartagena or Miami, says Marco.

“But now it has changed because they are losing the shame, and they are no longer embarrassed to charge money. It can be 50,000 pesos ($22) or less, up to 200 million pesos ($88,000) for someone such as a famous model who is on the TV. Who pays them? Drug traffickers. No one else has that kind of money.”

A scan of the newspapers, magazines and phone books will reveal dozens of agencies and Websites who manage this kind of business and charge a commission, but mostly it is done by word of mouth and personal recommendations.

“These women don’t care about education, manners, looks; money is enough, only money. With money it is all possible. Some of them do that thing where they hit you with sticks -- fetishism.”

Pablo is a director of the Zona Rosa Corporation, which looks after the interests of bars, restaurants and clubs in the Zona Rosa, the city’s main night spot.

He told the Daily Journal that everyone who moves in those circles has numbers of some prepagos, “Medellín is a city of models. Plastic surgery has really taken off in the last ten years, and the concept of beauty has changed. For your birthday now, they give you bigger breasts. You can get plastic surgery on credit, as with a car, or a mortgage, pay 50,000 pesos ($22) for month. It can be viewed as a kind of investment.”

“Michelle”, 22, was operated on just last week. It cost $1,500. She has been working as a prepago for about a year and half. She claims to have slept with the FARC commander known as El Mono, and one of the Castańo brothers (founders of the AUC), as well as various drug traffickers and businessmen.

She has even been to one of the fincas of “Macaco”, one of Colombia’s top paramilitaries, in the company of several other girls, she proudly notes.
She hopes to meet someone who will treat her well, preferably a foreigner. “There is an agency called Colombian Love Connection run by an Australian,” she says. The company brings in tours of foreigners and organizes parties to meet local girls.

“You hardly earn anything, but people do it for the contacts. I’ve got friends who have married an Italian, a gringo and a Canadian.”
