Fellow Mongerers,
I went down to Rio for Carnaval 2006. My apartment arrangements were taken care of my John Thompson, Rio Rental. In spite of a $400.00 dollar per day nice penthouse near Copacabna Beach, I could not get the promised maid service or even towels on a daily basis and no information about how to operate the utilities and internet. The service was very poor!!! After being informed of the deficiencies, I never got an apology or offer of refund as I left a week early of two weeks as I was so disgusted with his service.

Have to agree with Hunterman...the first two posts here are complete misplaced, with neither being a trip report, and the second having nothing to do with the first. The queries and comments are fine, but appear in the wrong place, generally fucking up the structure of the board.
