Comparing Medellin, Colombia to Rio de Janeiro, Brasil.

Actually, never been to Medellin but looking at the photos sure does seem like the Medellin chicas display more cleavage and the Cariocas display more bunda.

For others who've been to both, I'd like to hear a comparison.

Fake tits are quite common in MDE, not so in Rio. Beyond that simple fact, what are looking for in terms of comparison?

The garota in the photo in "Most Viewed" is a complete idiot, if you've ever talked to her. She's not that great looking but has a little of that "nice girl next door" look, but she's a real snake and not to fucking bright.

LOL @ Cat only because I thought the same thing about seeing that garota. I would say once a trip I poke into Help just look around and always see that chic. She reminds too much of an American girl so I just avoid eye-contact. You know she went online and kept clicking her own pic because she is skanky.

So far, I got Medellin chicas have big silcone fake tits and Rio garotas have got steroid-induced bundas.

Rio garotas can performed porno-style sex upon first meeting (i.e. termas), whereas Medellin chicas perform more conservatively unless there are repeated visits.

One thing I will mention is Carioca GDP's for the most part almost take it personally if they can't get you off. I've found even if you give them subtle insults about their performance, they will step up to the plate to "show you!" what they are capable. It is almost amusing to say they are not a true Brasiliera or carioca and call them a cold americana.

How about price comparison? For 200-300R ($100 or so) you can nail a very sexy, pretty, well-performing garota. ... Medellin??

Sex comparison? Rio garotas on the norm do DFK, BBBJ, balls-suck, eye-contact and as stated earlier really try to get you off. Probably almost 50% will do anal and CIM/facial.

In my experience, when someone describes a batch of girls as being "softer" that usually means "fat".

I've had a few bigger garotas but they tend to be fairly athletic and more muscular than fat. Lots of spinners in Rio but even they are solid. That's one of the greatest things about Rio, if you're in a termas, you have a very wide selection of body types, skin tones, hair color and ethnic backgrounds to choose from, with the services generally being good to great. Keep in mind, a disappointing session in Brasil means the girl only gave a standard BBBJ and fuck but didn't suck your balls long enough or wouldn't let you cum in her mouth or something. Bad Rio sessions beat good sessions in most other venues.

I've done both and disagree with the comment that Colombians are generally softer then Brazialians. In Medellin at least, the Paisas I knew went to the gym every day, and the malls and gyms arouund Poblado are packed with tight, hard body chicas. I suppose the guys who walk around looking for street girls in MDE's downtown ("rundown") section might not see the same types of girls, but I was amazed at the high percentage of well-kept women.

In Rio most GDPs can't afford a gym membership. Since it's a big and diverse city you can always find fit, young, hard bodies, but on average Carioicas are lazy people. Maybe sex and samba are enough for most of the girls in Rio, but Paisas on average are more fit.

To put it another way- from my comparison, Paisas were more well off and put more money into themselves (plastic surgery, hair extentions, makeup, sexy clothes, working out, etc.), while Carioicas were more in survival-sex mode. Spending countless nights in Help, you can see that many of the girls wear virtually the identical clothes every night. Those girls are not running on the treadmill every day.

I was not talking about the skank that calls Help home these days, just termas garotas. Help and the restaurant/bar scene in Copa is pure shit these days, as has been discussed quite a bit on the Brasil side of the board. I would rank the "talent" if we can even call it that, at Help these days to be nowhere close to termas talent.

Medellin v. Rio, Rio v. Medellin. Definitely a battle of the Titans. Having visited both cities on a number of ocassions here is my two cents:

Medellin. The women, who mostly are of european origin, are classically beautifull, small breasted by nature,without prominent rear ends. However, any woman's ass is going to look good if she is wearing three inch heels.

Rio. Not to take anything away from Colombian women but I think Brazilian women are just naturally better endowed. Just look at the photo posts over the last few years.

Medellin. There are stunners to be found. But you have to be able to speak some spanish especially if you want to start a relationship outside of an hour at Face Dos or Loutron.

Rio. Everywhere you look there are beautifull women. In the termas, on the beach, in front of Help or just walking down the street. More sophisticated by nature and many can communicate with a little bit of english.

Medellin v Rio. Sexual appetite. This is a tough one because I have been with some beauties in Medellin who were animals although most of them wanted to be home in their own beds by dawn. On the other hand, I have been literally worn out by many women in Rio who were not satisfied until they sucked every drop of energy out of me. I think the reports of the fellow hombres who share this opinion back this up.

That's it. I'm sure I could come up with other comparisons but just thinking about it makes me a little crazy. I would love to be in eithor place right now.

I dunno, I worked out in both Body Tech and Santilla.......I did see some hard bodies, but it was not like the gym was packed with them.

You can usually tell the muscle tone of the women that work out. Then there are those lucky to just have a hardbody without doing much.

I have never been to Rio but I have to Medellin.
When I was first planning my trip, I was deciding between Rio & Medellin. I checked out all the pictures on this and a few other sites like this, of the differences between Garotas and Piasas. Im not into the large asses like some of you are, and I like light skinned girls best. Yet I was still undecided. What finially sold me on Medellin was two things:

1) Radiomans report on the sreet girls of Medellin. The girls were approchable and from the pictures they were quite pleasing to the eye, yet, from what I read from reports on Rio the street girls are hardcore skanks.

2) Price, I found I could get a girl for all night for 40 usd in Medellin, which I found was very true, whereas that was almost unheard of in Rio.

Maybe someday I'll check out Rio but for now I'll go where I get the most bang for my buck.

The main difference between Rio and Medellin is that Rio is completely overrun by Mongerers.

When I was in Rio in the early 90's the prices were even lower than Medellin prices now. You could easily go all night with a garota for $25-$30.

Guys who go down there with a ton of money and throw it at them ruined Rio long ago. Help used to be a great place to go, I mean FANTASTIC. Now Terma girls won't even go near it. I used to see them there all of the time and you could easily negotiate an all nighter for $50 which saved them the need to take a taxi all the way back to their homes outside the city.

Rio is a major sex tourism place, Medellin is barely traveled in comparison.

The problem is that we are going to ruin Medellin as well someday.

I'm really hoping a high profile murder in Medellin of a tourist (not one of us of course!) scares the shit out of people so we stop going down there.

"Fear" is a great deterent. And though, I don't necessarily agree on a death to achieve that in some way that is why probably more people won't go to Colombia. For most Americans, you hear "Colombia" and immediately people think "drug cartels,cocaine and adult kidnappings". As for Rio, those same people think "sex and beaches"...and perhaps pickpockets too.

The thing about Rio is there an American subculture that exists in Copa. You can go into Copa and easily meet up with another american and have a beer. It is following a similiar path as TJ and Costa Rica. Though I think Don is a great guy, in a way he makes it far too easy -- picked up at the airport by Roberto (english-speaking driver), meet with other americans at Alcazar, order in English...etc. Other than getting a passport, it really can be hand-holding, mindless mongering almost similiar to vacationing at Disney World.

If I had to base going to Rio on Copa(Help/TA,etc.), I would not go there anymore. At least for me it was a good 50/50 split before...termas girl and then a Help girl per day. Now it is 80% termas girls and 20% independent escorts.

And that is why I am considering Medellin to get that GFE-type girl all-night while enjoy that occasional sport-fuck during the day. All while being affordable.

You will get a GFE in Medellin but only if you treat them as a girlfriend. You will need to session with them more than once and you have to talk to them. Not just two fucks and go.

Also you may only be able to pop once during the first session but they will let you pop as much as you want in future sessions.

For some people, that works great. For others, they want it all right away, then go to Rio.

When I was in Medellin I stayed at the Mansion and because of the area it was in I had no problem going out at night alone and walking around. I hear that Rio has become more dangerous for travelers at night and some parts of Medellin (Pablado) are becoming much safer.

I have only mongered in Rio. After two trips I am thinking of a change in scenery. For those people who are familiar with Medellin, is it a mistake to dress well in the nicer parts of town? In Rio I always felt this made me more of a target and even in the wealthier districts (Ipanema and Leblon)most people are quite casual. Are there parts of Medellin where you can stroll around in a suit or Blazer or would this be like having a "rob me" sign taped to my back? Thanks.

How would you rate Poblado as compared to Ipanema? Safer? I dont wear a watch or any jewelry but my shoes and clothes kind of make me stand out. Thats the point of course, but I could do without the aggravation if the nicer parts of Medellin have the same pests you have to put up with in Rio. The girls look great though - and the price seems right.

I stayed in Copacabana on my last trip to Rio, but I know Poblado a bit, and my guess is it's safer than Ipanema. Don't go to centro alone and you'll be fine.

Go to www.pegateya.com and click on the Medellin link to take a look at how people dress in the clubs. Usually, in Bogota or Medellin, I wear a nice pair of jeans with a "clubby" black or white long-sleeve shirt. In Rio, depending on the spot I'm going, instead of jeans, I'll wear some Dockers type pants. Always nice shoes of course as long as they're not gleaming brand new!
