This is my first everything,...first trip abroad, first reportī..etc etc.
I ask that you please bear with me as I try to put this together.
This will not be a blow by blow report, i want to just lay out my mistakes and hopefully this help someone to avoid the same.
First and most important....LEARN SOME SPANISH.
i was warned by i was hardheaded. most of the colombians speak little to no english. if it had not been for the americans that i met on this trip, i would have had a very hard time. you will be a target and your chances for a good GFE experience will harpered...so es spanol muy importanta....hope i spelled that right....
Second...prepare for the HUSTLE
there are people everywhere trying to sell you something. this being my first time it was a bit overwhelming. it seemed like everywhere i went, someone was trying to get me to buy thier goods...including the women.....you have to be nice but firm...just say no and keep walking. this is one time that not knowing the language worked in my favor.
Third...the women.
i hooked up with girls from the street, two from the casas and one from LDV. colors ranging from very light to very dark. some of them were very very beautiful some were so so. all were very passionate and worked hard to please.
fourth...the people and safety
the people are very nice and friendly. they were patient and kind.i was walking around at all times of the day and had no problems. like most cities there are areas that you stay away from butr for the most part, i did not feel threatened in any way.
Finally,
do the tourist thing while you are hear. dont spend all of your time chasing honeys. there is a lot of history here and its worth seeing.

I was in Cartgena in March and had a blast. You should want o learn spanish so you can communicate with people, but to be honest in my opinion it's not important when picking a girl. Talking can tell you very little about a girl in bed in my opinion-- sit her down and buy her a drink and watch how she interacts with you. It's to your advantage sometimes because she actually has to work to have give you her sale pitch. It's quite funny sometimes to see the type of sign language and hand guesture being used. All you really need to know is your numbers in spanish and how much time you want. I never needed anyone to speak for me and had a gfe each time. To me gfe's are very easy to find in Cartagena. Now if you were in Costa Rica you would be in trouble.
