Final count down to Rio 10/11/06 (3 weeks in Rio)
Is it just me? Or is everyone who is going to Rio this next week getting FUCKING EXCITED?? Iv been planning this trip/vacation to Rio for about 2 years now. Im bring along 2 newbies from So. Cal. One who is a former employee of Girls Gone Wild. We plan to do Rio right! All of you fellow mongers who have shot me an email lets all meet up and exchange notes. All others who will be in Rio, Hit me up and shoot me an email. Its going to be a great time! Spring time is in The air in Brazil, Weather is perfect. I am going to set up a meeting spot at
Metia Peckia (diner). If you have any last minute advice please.....talk to me!!

You'll be sitting alone on the sidewalk because Meia Pataca is closed for renovations. Should be closed for the next two months.
Suggest you switch to TA outside of Help.

Never seen a diner in Rio either, and Meia Pataca isn't one even if it was open.
You may want to print out a copy or 10 of UWPhoto's cheat sheet before you go, and consider using Don's services for a few days.

You would be better to post this notice in the "Trip Buddies" section under South America.
Atfer the trip it ould be appreciated if you made a post in this "Trip Reports" section.
I would advise to also print out Bwana_Dik's invaluable guide to enjoying Rio. Don and Ken will show you all the great termas Rio has to offer and can help you set uo a VIP festinha should you choose to accept the mission.
One SPECIAL mention is to look up Brazil Specialist while in Rio or for that matter consider staying at his place at least a few days. I cannot stop saying how neat it is to have a constant barrage of women available day or night.

Hang with Don and Ken and your meet up place will be Alcazar's. Even if Meia Petaca was open I personally would give it a pass. Too many ugly and bothersome whores frequent there (just my opinion). Terraco Atlantico in front of HELP is a great meet spot at night but I'd prefer Alcazar's during the day (try their grape beer also if they still have it in stock).
