Why would anyone pay that amount of money for an apartment for 9 nights in Rio?
By Thumper on Monday, November 06, 2006 - 07:37 pm: Edit |
Thats not too bad of a price, that basically comes down to $130/night.(per person) Decent price for a beachfront apt during carnival.

Unless it's beachfront in Recreio...

Sorry Guys made a mistake in the price for the one room. The $2300 for the one room with large bed, A/C, daily maid service, and all the pussy you can handle (Unlimited Guest in the Apartments). Hey, listen this is a prime apartment, ocean front on the Ave Atlantica, 3 blocks from club "Help". Dab smack in the middle of "Ground Zero". The pussy will be flowing, if you throw a rock in the air you will hit a fine women the head!!! Me and my friends have had this apartment reserved since July. And on top of all that you will be hanging out with 2 of the coolest guys in Rio, "Priceless". If you do not see the value you are not a true monger. Then you need to keep it moving.
Anybody truly interested in the 3rd room holla at your boy.
First Come First Serve!!!

Let's see first post to pimp an overpriced apartment. Second post states "If you do not see the value you are not a true monger."
Time to move on troll.

BBahler, I must be really dense, because I am not able to understand your response, I apologise.
Is it $2300 split 3 ways? Or is $2300 for the person to rent one room, in the 3 bedroom apartment.
Do you have a link to the apartment?

$2300 per person.

this has to be a joke.

Bbalher,
Let see, that comes out to approximately $255 per night. At the current exchange rate of R$2.13, that comes to almost R$545 per night.
That's pretty steep as far as I'm concerned and I'm no rocket scientist. You could get a great hotel room for that price without any roommates, better security, a better location and most likely a fantastic breakfast thrown in, too. Guess I don't see the value you're referring to....enlighten me!

US$ 3500 per person??? 3500 for the entire apartment?
You are 1 guy using one room, offering 2 rooms for part of the 3500??
I am getting confused?
No, I don't need a room during carnival, just curious. I have rooms myself I would love to find renters for. And exactly during carnival and New Years' I don't rent them out much.

sorry I wrote this and then took 24 hours to post it, so I did not see the clarifying discussion that took place in the mean time
$2300 times three is 6900? darn expensive indeed, even for Carnival!!
Funny indeed!!
Anyone has other price quotes for Carnival?? Usually double the usual rates for a minimum of 10 days. Still much cheaper then what is quoted here, unless if it is a triplex penthouse in Viera Souto with 30 000 square feet and Olympic Swimming pool!!

Maybe if the pussy is included in the price, then it is an ok price. But it'd better be prime pussy
Well, for a high quality one bedroom, the price would still be within reasonable range. But a 3 bedroom does NOT rent for triple the price of a one bedroom, so this still sounds fishy.
Maybe our friend rented a 3 bedroom and wants to rent the single bedrooms at a profit, so his own stay will be free? Nothing illegal about it, but it should be said openly if this is so.

BS-You may have nailed it. Guy is trying to get his portion covered because there just aren't any places on Ave. Atlantica 3 blocks from Help that are that expensive, even during Carnaval/NYE.

Hang on a second fellas, lets give him a chance. I clicked his username and it showed a picture of the view from the apartment.
Who knows, this place might be one of those incredible penthouses with a huge balconey over looking Copa!!
I wish he would post a link to the apt, so we could take a look at the place.
