EZY: Check www.escorts-argentina.com or www.escortsbaires.com.ar. Click on the chica of your choice. There is a section for information. Click on this area and scroll down for a listing of fees for each chica. This will give you a better feel for prices. Generally, the rate quoted you is at the upper end of the range for "classy" girls. FWIW, I do not always find a correlation in BA between the quality of the chica and the price she charges. Some very classy girls are simply not savvy marketers, or don't want their pix on the net. So don't book all of your dates in advance. Your on-the-ground explortation may yield surprising and very satisfying results.

GENT99: LODGING. I found thru the internet a nice-looking 1-bedrm Recoleta apartment for 1 week at $230. Is this a good idea? Any other city zones you consider better?

EZY: As you probably know from reading Club Hombre trip reports, there are two areas of town where chica clubs are concentrated....downtown (Microcenter) and la Recoleta. I have had better luck finding chicas I like in the downtown clubs, BUT I much prefer to stay in Recoleta and take taxis to downtown (4-6pesos or 1-2USD). Recoleta is quieter and more residential than the commercial area downtown.

I normally do not recommend renting an apartment as a first time visitor, but you may be the exception because you are fluent in espanol and you are doing a lot of advance work. Look at a map of Recoleta/Barrio Norte. The chica clubs are on either side of the cemetary in Recoleta. Restaurants are concentrated on Junin, on one side of the cemetary.

My personal preferences when renting an apartment - a good building with 24 hour security, a nice view, and air conditioning. November is late spring in Argentina, and temps can be balmy. You may or may not need an air conditioner, but if you need one it certainly makes sex a more pleasant experience if you have ac available!!!

Belgrano and Palermo are nice residential areas, connected to downtown and Recoleta via subway (subte), but I would not recommend staying in either area as a first time visitor on a week's vacation.

GENT99: LANGUAGE. Would I (possibly) have better luck, i.e. lower prices and better GFE, with only Spanish-speaking girls? I figure those without English tend to have less business, and therefore be more accomodating & appreciative (therefore cheaper).

EZY: As a general rule, your premise is correct. English speaking girls are in higher demand, but the amount of business done by any one individual varies depending upon a number of other variables.

RE: cheaper - If you are looking for less expensive options: try waiting until you are in BA. Go to a club and spend some time with the chica of your choice. If she knows and likes you, the rates go way down. For example, in August, I introduced another first time visitor to a friend of my favorita. Before they met she stated her fee as 150pesos for 1-1.5 hrs - they met in a club and got to know each other. To make a long story short, he paid 150 pesos for all night and into the next day.

Like you, he was pleasant, treated the girl with RESPECT and was fluent in Spanish. This approach can pay amazing dividends in terms of the quality of sex and the price.

GENT99: MEETING CHICAS. Cafe Orleans is mentioned often. Recommend it? Which is better - go to local clubs to meet chicas or call the ones I like from the internet? Any places you recommend to meet (i.e., pick up) non-escort girls? I like the idea of Cafe Orleans to meet a good chica in the afternoon then keep her until the next day.

EZY: Cafe Orleans - I have been to Cafe Orleans at least 10 times and never found a chica I like. Most are older and harder than I prefer, but I understand the scene may well be changing as the economy worsens and more Argentinians are out of work and turn to prostitution. I have also found in the few times I have spoken with chicas in Orleans that they prefer short-term dates in one of the nearby short-stay hotels - the core clientele in Orleans during the day is an Argentine businessman taking a break or over lunch hour. I have had much better luck finding a chica in a club who will spend the night and into the next day.

Cutty Sark is about 2-3 blocks from Orleans and opens at 4....the selection is hit or miss early, but by about 8 (very early in BA) there is usually a good selection. So, try Orleans and if you don't see what you like, check out Cutty. The short guy who serves as a tout for Cutty knows a lot about the sex scene. Don't remember his name, but he is from Iraq.

GENT99: E-MAILING beforehand. I plan on contacting 10-15 escorts with e-mail addresses 2 weeks in advance, expressing my interest in multiple-day GF bookings. Then seeing how the responses come in. I would attach pictures of me (I have a great one in a tux) to let them know what the "deal" involves. Opinions?

EZY: What you see on the net is not always what you get. The exception is escorts-argentina - some pix are of the same girl, but the pix were taken 10 years before; others are of the same girl, but with much air brushing to hide flaws; others are simply not pix of the same girl at all. So, be wary. This having been said, I have used this strategy on occasion with some success.

FWIW, one of the things I look for is whether or not a girl is willing to continue an email relationship for several weeks before my trip, a good indicator about the quality of the session you will receive later. If she won't stay in touch for several weeks leading up to a multiple day session with you, she probably won't make a very good companion.

An evening at a tango show/dinner is also a fun way to pass the evening. Mr. Tango provides a good show/dinner combination. Again, ask you travel agent. A day trip to Colonia, Uruguay is another option.

And if you are just looking for an evening with a chica, many are happy to go to dinner and a movie or dancing. Very inexpensive for us, but not for them given the state of the economy.

GENT99: WEBSITES. Which do you recommend? Platynum and Area-Vip look good.

EZY: Area-VIP....."glamour" photos make most chicas appear much nicer than they appear in person, but at least they are generally of the same girl. Platynum....more and more girls listed here are not the girl who will show up at your door....escorts-argentina is a better choice - smaller site with the same web-mistress, Adriana. Adriana screens the 50 girls on this site to be certain that you get what you see. For Platynum, she does not.

EZY: Yes, these figures are realistic. Hotels or aparthotels will actually cost a little more, but for an apartment, $300 is workable. Living costs (meals, dates, drinks, taxi) are on the high side, but if you budget this amount for you and your chica, you should be safe.

GENT99: CALLING. When's the best time of day to call an escort in advance? Is 1 day in advance appropriate or same day? I realize much of it will be hit or miss.

EZY: For the most part, same day about noon - highly variable. For the most part, escorts live in the here-and-now. Planning ahead does not work well...and for same day appointments, don't get your heart set on a specific girl. From a list of 10, you may not reach more than one. Sure, leave a message, but don't expect a call back right away. Your time is short -if she isn't in, move on to another chica, otherwise you may wind up waiting for a call that will never come.

GENT99: OTHER SUGGESTIONS. I'm open to any suggestions on travel, key points when meeting/negotiating, where to go, taxis, escorts to avoid, local drivers for hire, places to stay, to go etc.

EZY: Where to stay - try the various aparthotels listed on the internet.

Taxis/drivers - Carlos Dalbosco is available as a driver, 5 USD/hr. He can show you where to have a good time in BA - local # 4652-5758 or cell: 15-4470-3963. He can take you to the good times establishments in outlying areas, especially Floresta. He will also pick you up at the airport and take you to your hotel for 38 pesos, but you will need to phone in advance. Local taxi companies - Mi Taxi 4931-1200 or Baseport 4639-6666 are reliable. Taxis are plentiful in commercial areas, but if your apartment is on a side street you may need to phone in advance. Be sure to take Radio Taxis (they will have Radio Taxi printed on the car).

Key points - you already have the idea. Speak the language and treat the girl with respect; establish a relationship before you establish a price. Some girls are very inflexible, others the opposite.

Confusing!
