RATE: I paid $60 via one of the millions of hotel booking web sites (southamericahotels.net); the posted rack rate is in the $150s.
CHICA-FRIENDLY?: Yes. There is no chica policy here. When you get to the hotel, you just get on the elevator and go to your room.
AMENITIES: Free breakfast, plenty of hot water, I am up on the 20th floor, so street noise should not be a problem. Gym, sauna, steam room, pool, jacuzzi, comfy chairs in the lobby.
QUALITY: Very good. The bed is firm, the view is nice, the front desk and a couple of other staff people speak good English. The outlets in the room only have two holes, so finding somewhere to plug in and charge my computer may be a challenge. UPDATE: When I asked at the front desk, they gave me an adapter, so I'm good to go.
